The room was stuffy and heat was continuously on could not sleep asked for compensation with no luck clerk was rude

Very nice hotel, quiet. Staff was very helpful when I had problems checking in. I definitely have put this on my hotel list for the lower mainland for when we travel.

Excellent easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms were exactly like the photos.

This is our go-to hotel in Richmond. The best rooms are in one of the towers. Generally, we get a good sleep at this hotel. For breakfast, Denny's is close, but Moxies, which is within walking distance is preferable. The airport shuttle is great. Another advantage of this hotel, is the parking. We have left our vehicle here for up to a month on several occasions. If you leave the car for less than two weeks, and stay at the hotel the night before you fly out and again the night after you fly in, they give a very good rate.

Room had lots of flaws. Broken curtains rods, broken window door lock, broken air conditioning. As well had plugs for coffee machine that didn’t work.

We had ants in our room and made their way to our beds and was told “ we’ll have maintenance look at it” still paid full price

This is the first time I stay at a Sandman hotel. Very good hotel with excellent service. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient—special thanks to Dennis L. for being especially helpful and professional. Made the check-in experience smooth and welcoming.

The room we were given was a older handicap accessible room with a shower nozzle about 3ft high. We are clearly not handicapped. I couldnt help but feel that because we were on a expedia discounted rate we were given the least desirable room. I called and complained and we had our room changed. The front desk staff was very accommodating which was appreciated. But why give us the room in the first place? This is a older-tired hotel- i expected more from a Sandman. Make sure you get a good rate if your staying here- it serves a purpose but only for the right price.

Nice welcoming and polite

We found dozens and dozens of ants running around in our room, especially on our bed and the couches. Had to take a shower immediately and then go thru our clothes and bags and make sure everything was ok and then carefully pack up everything again.

Easy to find from the airport and close to all access points (roads) to travel the lower main land

Our AC didn't work and they only provided a fan but our room was still very hot. The room is very far from the lobby and inconvenient to get to. It's very difficult to get bottled water as there is only one vending machine near our room and the water was sold out. Staff were helpful however.
