Ik zou deze accommodatie vermijden. In onze vijf weken in Canada was dit de enige accommodatie waar we weinig liefde voelden. Het hele complex was slecht onderhouden; de kamer en badkamer was viezig. In het beddengoed zaten vlekken. De koelkast maakte de hele nacht een enorm lawaai. Er zijn honderden andere accommodaties die leuker zijn. Echt veel te duur voor wat je krijgt.

We really liked it here. It's close to things to do and then you get to relax in the pool and hot tub. The room was comfortable too!

A quiet old fashion hotel / motel. It is great for relaxing.

Clean room

Staff was wonderful. Restaurant next door is closed. No breakfast available. Duvet had makeup stains along the top. Otherwise room was clean and spacious.

Great place to stay, budget friendly, clean, the staff is super friendly! We will be booking again :)

Clean room, good air conditioner , staff were very nice and respectful!

We have stayed at this resort several years ago and we enjoyed the experience. However, our experience when we stayed there in July, 2026 was much different, When we first booked the reservation through Expedia, we were led to believe that there were only a few rooms left as the room availability indicated that they were sold out many of the rooms. We booked an available room. When we arrived at the property, there was virtually no one else in the resort but ourselves. The resort advertised an English breakfast each morning however that was not served during our stay. The restaurant and common area of the main building was not accessible and there were very few staff seen during the entire stay. We did receive fresh towels each day. We checked out one day early and were told that no refund of the one night stay would be made. In summary, not a great experience as we got the impression that the ownership has recently changed hands or that the resort has been closed for some time and open only to accommodate expected visitors during a music festival held locally.

Room was fairly clean but old. The outdoor pool and hottub were rustic but clean. The hotel appears to just reopening under new management.

Rooms were clean. The staff were friendly, but if they would invest in their money into some updates to the rooms.

Big property in a great location but very dated. Needs a refresh

Had a room on the second floor, note to seniors: no elevator. Given two keys to room, one did not work. Very dated but clean.

The beds are too soft and bad quality. Swimming pool is far away.

Great room and kind staff. A little slow on housekeeping but no issues. The property is comfortable and could use some updates but still a clean and comfortable stay. I would book again.

Great location

Great stay comfortable rooms quiet close to Cavendish attractions

Considering that the hotel was closing up for the year, they were still very accommodating. Everything was great, close to Avonlea attractions but not too close.

We stayed here following a day of golf and it was the perfect spot to relax. It was the end of the season, so the place was very quiet. We walked a very short distance to a local restaurant for dinner, another lovely experience. The staff were very accommodating in putting the whole group of us close by each other. The staff we very friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.
