The Como was the perfect place to start our. vacation. It is beautifully designed and maintained and the staff was outstanding. From the moment we arrived they went out of their way to care for us and make us comfortable. They were all terrific and I wish I had everyone’s names to thank them. A particular shout out to the gentleman who came and dealt with a slow draining sink before we went to bed. He had it working in no time. Also, Jeanette was particularly helpful at checkout so that we could make a timely departure. The location was ideal, close to restaurants and shops and ride shares but on a quiet side street. It is even walkable to the waterfront. The rooms are a bit small but the overall say was perfect. If ever back in Vancouver it would be my first choice accommodation.

I booked at this property but unfortunately could not stay, so my rating is for my pre arrival experience. My friend had a serious medical emergency which required surgery the day before we were supposed to drive up and stay. The hotel refused to cancel with a refund or move my reservation to a later day because they “couldn’t sell the room”. Where’s the empathy…? Very disappointing.

We had a lovely albeit short, overnight stay at the Como. The hotel is new, very nicely appointed and clean. The staff were exceptional - accommodating and helpful, providing a personal touch. From the fresh flowers in the lobby to the underground parking and excellent dining in the walkable west end neighbourhood, we would definitely stay here again. Our room was very small, and the portable air conditioner took up valuable space but we loved our stay and would highly recommend the Como to our friends and family.

This hotel was very lovely. We were immediately greeted by the staff, who had great recommendations of where to eat and what to do. Then we walked into our room which was STUNNING! Spacious and clean, I especially loved the balcony overlooking the street. We were only here one day, but I am so glad we stayed here because the staff helped us make the most out of our 1 day trip. And not to mention the location was awesome too, right next to stanley park, and a 15 minute walk to the port for Granville island, or a 15 minute walk to the bay. We were even able to utilize the bus to go to gas town and do a little shopping (found my favorite vinyl store EVER - shoutout Beat Street Records). Overall, we are very pleased with our small stay. Only thing we would have changed is we wish we were there longer!!

Really beautiful, bright and sunny room. Loved being in the West End at this gorgeous spot.

From the first communications by internet with the staff I received immediate responses and all questions answered promptly.

Location! What a perfect stay. This small little hotel is a must see. It has been recently renovated and the rooms were newly renovated.

Very comfortable suite! The staff cannot be more obliging and friendly, and even the part owner of the hotel was a visible and friendly presence . Housecleaning is fab and front desk esp Elizabeth and Amber and Kalen are very helpful. It is a very new hotel and there were one or two teething problems but these were immediately addressed and resolved by the staff and owner. There isnt a dining area within the hotel but there are so many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk from the hotel (inc a 7/11). I did not have a car but there is a secure car park for the hotel (needs to be prearranged). English Bay is just a short walk away (5mins) and so pretty. The area is lovely and arty (do try the Cafe Portrait for breakfast but be prepared to wait in line as it’s a local favourite). If I was to visit again I would stay at The Como without hesitation!

Great location and staff! Would definitely stay again. My only complaint is that when other guests were entering/leaving their nearby rooms, lots of noise in our room.

The room was completely spotless, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room had a nice big tv and a large comfy bed, the bathroom was super clean with a great shower. The area was also very convenient and close to everything, and the parking situation was good - we would definitely stay here again. The only downsides was the fact that our room didn't have air conditioning (it has heating) and it shared a wall with the lobby (could slightly overhear), however no real issues. 9.5/10

This hotel was very nice and clean. The full kitchen was an additional nice bonus. However, they did not have AC and the rooms were very hot as it was nearly 80 degrees outside. We had to keep the windows open all night and were woken up by sirens, car alarms, crying babies etc. This hotel is very small and the parking is tiny as well. Overall good but not worth what we paid in my opinion.

This is a lovely small boutique hotel in a great location. We were surprised at the size of the suite - way more room than anticipated:. We even had 2 little patios. The owner and staff were very helpful and kind. This is truly a gem and we will not hesitate to stay there again.

Advertises AC - No AC!! Otherwise great location and awesome hotel, great staff! Get some AC Como!
