Everything was excellent. Check-in was easy. Our room was clean, comfortable and ready for us. The 24x7 coffee station was well stocked, free cookies were a nice touch. The onsite restaurant had lots of options, food was great, staff was friendly and attentive. The continental breakfast was wonderful - bright room, good food choices. Check-out was a snap. And the rate was quite reasonable. A huge thank-you to the management and staff at the Kanata - our stay was very enjoyalbe!!

Very nice

Stayed here after visiting Radium Hot Springs on a BC road trip. Room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced. The man on reception on the afternoon shift was very friendly and we had a good chat with him about other Canadian regions. We got to the breakfast late in the opening time and some things had run out but there was still enough to choose from. It was good to see the boot cleaner at the lobby front and tray for boots in the room because other hotel rooms in the region had dirty carpet as a result of boots being muddy. There was a sign about having recently replaced the carpet. Great also to have an elevator for upper floors as lugging suitcases up stairs for properties without them gets tiresome. Most of the older two storey properties in BC have stairs only.

The free breakfast was the right amount of different food options and really good coffee. The staff were very accommodating! We will stay there again when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and funny, and the Rocky River Grill restaurant was a delicious convenient dinner before bed and a good continental breakfast before we departed. Overall a great stop on our road trip.

Booked and paid for a superior king, when I got there was given a queen, told it was the same price and not offered any apology. I would expect to be given the difference in fee, as it a much different experience! Expedia says it confirms if you’ve paid and I I paid in full more the 7 days prior to arriving.
