Great size place, great location - easy to walk to everything on the main strip!

The breaker for the washroom and AC unit as the same so the haIr dryer kept blowing a fuse. Everything else was great!

The Shores is a great location for access to both downtown Southampton and the beach. The room itself was as described, well equipped and clean. However, the location itself lacked curb appeal. The entrance is in a back alley above a restaurant. We were apprehensive when we first arrived, but were pleasantly surprised that there was no noise or smell from the restaurant.

Had a good time in Southhampton, ON. Our stay at The Shores was ok but rooms need a bit of TLC and cleaning was not up to expectations. But it was comfortable and location is good. Recommend the Thai Restaurant in same building - that was amazing.

Fulfilled the purpose of our trip for one night

We stayed for a night. The place was not clean to an extent that we couldn't let our child get on the floor or touch anything throughout our stay. It was super inconvenient. We called up and let the contact person know but she couldn't help.

The apartment was well stocked, located in the heart of town and an easy 5 min walk to the beach

The property is really old and not very well maintained. They charged us 500 dollars for a night but it was worst than a motel. There was lot of dust beneath the bed and here and there. Needs maintenance and upgrades. Not worth the price we paid definitely.

Perfect location. Close to everything.

It was for a family gathering. There was plenty of room for all of us and we had a great time. Good location. We had a wonderful Thai meal on the patio of the restaurant in the same building. Our only suggestion is that there needs to be at least one comfortable chair (doesn’t need to be big) to sit on. The futons were great for the kids. Would rather have a single chair and no coffee table. We were pleased with our stay. Peggy

Good spot if you're looking to check out Southampton.

Great location, clean and spacious, close to everything.

Right from the beginning we were met with disappointments. The building isn't labeled at all so you're not even sure you have the right place. The "office" is not labeled. The property manager met us in his pajamas. The apartment appeared to be clean at first until we actually had been there for a few hours. The floors were sticky and dirty they felt like they hadn't been mopped in a long time. We only discovered this after our 9 month old was crawling on the floor which we couldn't let her do the rest of our stay. The smell from the restraunt below was coming through the vent and was so overpowering and gross. The shower was DISGUSTING!!! The shower curtain was covered in soap scum, it had a rip in it, the shower walls still have other peoples hair on them and the tub was stained. The door knob was falling off the one room door. And the main door was not a fire door which is should have been. The room has a lot of potential but they are clearly trying to do things on the cheap. Every wall, door frame and trim needs fresh paint as it is marked up and it looks like they just went to a restore to get most of their furniture it's clearly not new or in good condition. Oh and the comforters had stains on them eww. So glad we brought our own pillow cases. If the owners put an actual effort in this could be nice but as if right now I would NOT recommend staying here.

1 night in Southampton for work. wanted something local. it was in a good location, but had no view.

Exactly as advertised, great value and excellent location in the centre of town.

Owner is very rude and won’t even come to meet you during the whole stay. Some guy would take care of the booking and he wasn’t able to speak English. Secondly we had to open every single window coz the air conditioning wasn’t working and when we called the guy he said someone is coming to fix it but nothing happened thereafter. Good location n all but not worth the money spent. I won’t recommend this property.

Only a few minutes drive to the beach which was nice. Outside of property was not very appealing and the property was not clearly marked including where to park. Was an upstairs apartment above a Thai restaurant. The unit was decently clean especially the bedrooms with fresh linens but the kitchen wasn’t the most clean. The property manager was very nice man.

The Shores was a decent stay. Friendly and helpful Property Manager! Good location, and clean and large rooms. Fully functional kitchen and wifi/netflix.
