Safe!

Its a decent resort style hotel in the Oasis chain. Not particularly close to anything, but thats fine when all you want to do is relax by the pool. There is no beach - beach in Praia is blah, better to go to Sal or Boa Vista for quality beaches. Room was correct, nice balcony overlooking the water and view on Fogo volcano, which was neat! AC worked well, wifi was sometimes spotty but ok in general. Good towels. Front desk staff were helpful and responded to a request to fix the sink to drain properly and refill the soap dispensers (but this should be managed by the housekeeping anyway). Breakfast was very good, large variety of items. Supper was another story entirely - takes AGES to get any attention from a waiter and then another hour to actually get food. All sitting in the dark, because there's very little indoor dining area for supper (that I could see) and the outdoor seating has no practical lighting at all. Pool was nice, but always super windy so basically no use. Also not heated so only good during summer.

After changing the first room , was very bad , we got another room , what was well . the food in restaurant was , say well , but I ecpected beter for an hotel like this . people in the reception where very kind .

The hotel is good but the are a number of little things that were annoying the shower head would not stay in position,one could hear the people in the rooms next door.

O hotel é fantastico e muito bem localizado junto à praia. O único senão sã as camas, que são muito desconfortáveis.

Very disappointed in Management's customer service. Flight cancellations by Cabo Verde Airlines both coming and going required reservation changes. Hotel would not accommodate changes even with 3 and 5 day advance notice--blamed Hotels.com yet refused to work with hotels.com requests to allow changes. They said we must cancell the entire reservation and rebook, but "there are no reservations to book". Result was we had to pay for 6 rooms (3 rooms for 2 nights) on each end of our reservation that we could not use. Will not reserve here again. Also, we paid for a "garden view" which was a hedge and the parking lot and road. We have stayed here numerous times, reserving 3-5 rooms for up to a week. They do not treat returning guests with any consideration. Cannot recommend to others. New hotels being built in the neighborhood. Thank goodness!

24 hour security.

Meget bra beliggenhet. Slitt hotell som trenger generell oppussing. Ok personale som kunne ha vært mere serviceminded. Mange var og dårlig i engelsk.

Like other reviews said, they can't seem to handle the basics. Arrived around noon, was told checkin was at 2pm. Came back at 2pm, but had to wait 30 minutes. Others were waiting much longer and every time Iv was in the lobby there were many people waiting that didn't look very happy. This hotel has potential, but not with the current management.

Nous avons aimé la chambre avec vue sur l'océan, hôtel calme et sympa, nous avons apprécié de pouvoir parler en français et le poisson était bon.

Hotel molto comodo per un breve soggiorno. Il personale è molto cortese. Hotel non è distante dall’aeroporto

Le personnel, tant à la réception, nettoyage, restauration et piscine ne semble pas heureux. Pas de sourire, pas de bonjour à l'arrivée, pas de remerciement pour avoir séjourné à l'hôtel. Très pauvre service. Nous avons demandé un lit d'appoint pour notre fille, après quatre demandes, toujours pas de lit. Nous avions réservé au même endroit après un voyage dans une autre île et avions demandé une chambre supérieure. Encore une fois, problème avec le lit d'appoint. Nous avons été obligé de demander trois fois avant que le lit arrive...à 22h30. Ameublement très désuet même dans une chambre supérieure. Les deux seuls points positifs de cet établissement est le petit-déjeuner copieux et la vue superbe sur l'océan à partir du bar/resto. Nous visitons souvent le Cap Vert mais nous ne retournerons jamais plus à cet établissement.
