À notre arrivée nous n'avons eu aucune explication ce qui nous a valu d'être enfermé dehors à notre retour de balade. Le petit-déjeuner "complet gratuit" ne comprends en faite que un café ou un jus et vous avez un crédit de 700 donc des pancakes ou muesli ou omelette ou.... Chambre et salle de bains propre et spacieuse. Produit du petit déjeuner très bon

Very friendly staff great breakfast food, walking distance to beach, staff isn’t on site 24 hours but this is my personal opinion. Everyone was still very accommodating and was just a phone call away, it was very nice!

Todo muy limpio y cómodo. Un gran lugar para quedarse en Praia. Buen desayuno! Staff amable. Regresaría sin dudarlo.

It was amazing, my room was pretty big, shared bath room, but it was very clean. Great location, close to the beach. For the plateau you have to walk around 20 - 30mins. The street is very loud, but during the night there's not a lot of traffic. It was a very pleasant stay.

The property was small and beautiful close to the beach and places to eat and embrace the culture. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere with frequent events to include food and music

Extremely wonderful stay twice in a week (we went back because it was so nice and so close to beach). Host was helpful with advice and taxis. Breakfast was homemade and amazing and different each day.

Quiet, residential neighborhood. A bit of a walk to get to any kind of convenience store. The room was serviceable with a shared bathroom and shower.

Very limited explanations from personnel, difficult to find them and quick to dissappear after one question. Felt like we were disturbing them.

Lovely atmosphere, clean and spacious rooms, helpful staff, very convenient location, safe neighborhood, walkable distance to Praia plateau, and truly delicious food available at the on-site restaurant.

The food at Syd's is delicious and probably some of the best we had during our stay in Cape Verde. Angela and her colleague were both incredible, very friendly and cooked us amazing breakfasts every morning. We would really recommend a stay at Syd's Guesthouse!

Close to the beach with a nice patio. Syd was very nice and helpful. I found it a little difficult to check in because there is a locked gate out front that you can’t get through unless someone is there to let you in.

Lugar con mucho encanto. Es como un osasis en Praia, agradable, bien situado y limpio. Algo básico en equipamiento, pero resulta comprensible.

Everyone was helpful from picking us up at the airport late in the night to letting us stay one more night without notice. Breakfast is good and there is a restaurant in the guesthouse that seems quite nice.
