I stayed in the private apartment (thought was on sight) But it is down the street from the hostel. The apartment is basic and no shampoo or anything like that. Two towels and no dish towels. Apartment was kind of run down but the price is what you get. Bed was not that comfortable and no ac; just a fan. Area was close to the plaza and the lucia hill (5-10 minute walk) nice views from 22nd floor but stayed for 3 nights in Santiago and least favorite city so far; graffiti everywhere after the riots and looks really run down and a lot of hippies laying in parks and sidewalks. Zero night life nearby or walkable to go to if you like to go out and meet people close to your housing. Would recommend another area.

Spacious private room with bathroom, bery clean. Great location. Breakfast not great, but I guess usual for a hostal.

good location and cost was reasonable very friendly and helpful staff and room was more than adequate

Arrive très tôt à l'Hostel le personnel fut très aimable et nous ont permis de laissé nos valises et de relaxer dans le petit salon. Sans que l'on en fasse la demande, ils ont pas attendu 2 heures pm pour nous donner accès à notre chambre. Tous les employés sont avenants et souriants. La chambre était comme le reste de l'immeuble, tres propre et agréable. Fortement recommandé!

You can feel that people here are all travelers and backpackers: good ambiance and respect. Hostel is well located.

Hostel bem localizado fica situado no centro de de Santiago. Ele é de fácil acesso e fica próximo de restaurantes e atrativos turísticos. ótimo atendimento de todo o staff, quartos limpos. Recomendo o hostel!

밤에 너무너무 시끄럽게 떠드는데 스태프들이 제대로 관리하지 않음. 조식도 너무나 별로였고 2층 침대에 올라가는 사다리가 없어서 옆 침대에서 건너 뛰어야 했음. 간판이 너무 작아서 찾기도 힘들었다. 다른 호스텔을 찾아보겠다.

Très bonne découverte. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits, auberge calme qui propose de nombreuses activités (cours de salsa par exemple). Rapport qualité prix excellent, très bon petit déjeuner. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter et recommandons cette adresse.

Reservamos una habitacion desde Buenos Aires y cuando llegamos, cansados del viaje, nos habian puesto en una habitacion con 8 personas mas cuando habiamos PAGADO por Una habitacion privada! Sin cumplir con lo contratado no hubo devolucion, terminamos yendo a otro lugar

Se você vai esperando o mínimo de serviço, sairá desapontado pois como é um hostel, não limpam seu quarto e nem trocam sua roupa de cama. No quarto individual com suíte, o banheiro estava com o chuveiro quebrado e não há nenhum tipo de ventilador para enfrentar o verão chileno. Recomendo apenas para opção extremamente econômicas, com chances de encontrar um hostel melhor avaliado em outro local.

Overpriced and low standards. Toilet didn't flush, you have to take off your own sheets in the morning, towels for rent - they don't come standard in the private ensuite room. Hairs of previous guests in the bathroom. Ordered taxi didn't show up..

Súper!! Me encanto la estancia del Hostal, su arquitectura tradicional, mezclada con lo moderno, muy acogedor y la calidad y calidez de todos quienes conforman su staff. En cuanto al departamento asignado respondió a nuestras expectativas, muy acogedor y con una hermosa vista a la ciudad. Sobre todo muy cerca a sitios turísticos y comercio de Santiago. Volveremos de seguro a alojarnos con ustedes!! Gracias por acogernos cono en familia.Éxitos!!!

Excelente atención por parte del personal que labora en el, agradable ambiente y muy cercano a todo el entretenimiento de la ciudad de santiago

We booked what we thought was a double ensuite in the hostal and when we arrived we were told we were in an apartment 2/3 blocks away. We were initially happy with this arrangement but as the apartment turned out not to have WiFi and the hostal insisting on wanting to communicate via email this provided some difficulties due to the apaapartments location. We informed them we could not locate the ssid for the WiFi on 3 separate occasions and we were told they would send someone over. It was never fixed. This was quite frustrating as I had to make a number of important business calls via Skype late in the night due to time differences and the only option I had was to either use my phone data or walk 3 blocks late at night with my devices. I preferred the former and incurred additional costs when really the apartment should have had WiFi. In addition, we were told we had to leave a $100 deposit for the key, something we were not informed of when we booked. We can't rate the hostal itself as we didn't stay but having returned to Santiago 5 days later and staying in a different apartment nearby we really think the Santiago backpackers apartment was over priced and lacked basic facilities.

Perfect stay. Nice people! Great location!
