Really enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza Huangshan. The staffs were super helpful.

The service at the hotel is good. When we arrived there was a cute little stuffed monkey and a small jar of tea with a hand written welcome note waiting for us in our room. The breakfast is good with many choices.

Really impressed with the room and the hotels amenities. Staff was super helpful arranging transportation for me.

This is probably the best international standard hotel in Huangshan city! However, only a few staffs speak good English like Wil so it's kind of a struggle to communicate with other staffs even though they tried very hard to be helpful. Thanks to Wil, we got our train ticket booked and travel to mount Huangshan arranged! The hotel is very big and elegant. Room was nice and clean with nice view of the river. The seafood pizza we tried was good. However, the so called "mandarin fish" that I ordered at the Chinese restaurant was terrible. It smelled like rotten fish! Anyhow, this is probably the closest to international standard hotel as it gets. The hotel is about 5 min taxi ride to Tuxi Ancient street!

Hotel is nice next to s river. Room is spacious and bed is hugh. The only disappointment is the bath room not clean.

What I like: - big swimming pool - great gym facilities - nice lobby Check in staff originally placed in a smoking room, asked for an unreasonable big deposit (4000 yuan). After then we were allocated into a non-smoking room with better views. Room cleaning was excellent

Front desk staff at check-in require more training. They were slow and quite inflexible. I booked 3 nights stay over 2 bookings but they insisted that I can only add the extra night to my door card on the day I am supposed to check-in under the second booking rather than just taking as one continuous stay. Many other hotels internationally had been able to aggregate all bookings as 1 booking so I don't have to go back and add more nights to the room key. More importantly, I had to switch several rooms because even though I was given a room on a non-smoking floor with all non-smoking rooms, the hotel supplied ash trays in these rooms and previous guests had smoked in them. Some rooms smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. After 4 room changes within the non-smoking floor did they find me a room that didn't smell of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, that room had 2 single beds and not the King bed which I had booked. I settled for the single bed rather than chance a king bed in a smokey room. Front desk was quite useless until a young Lady Manager stepped in. She was superb in helping me sort out the rooms and was apologetic. The concierge Kelvin was more than helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable about the areas to travel to and helped arranged local travel. So it was not all bad. However, I am not sure I will return to stay at this hotel again because I want to avoid getting non-smoking rooms that smelled of cigarette smoke.

Convenient location, spacious room, helpful staff, free parking

It was a beautiful property overlooking the stream and mountains. Very clean rooms and excellent breakfast buffet.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel and the experience was generally positive. Our guide said we chose the best one in town and it was very affordable for a very spacious hotel. Very modern and generally clean but some polish is required in the rooms. Couches a little worn looking. Also local tourists create a lot of smoke and noise. Not sure what a hotel can do about that though. Overall would probably stay again.

A very spacious affordable and well located that should be luxurious and comfortable. This expectation can be lost in the details somewhat - worn couches, and iron burn on my desk, smoke smells in no smoking areas, a seedy spa, and my room had the soap package already opened. It doesn’t change that I would stay here again. It’s nice affordable and a great choice.

Hotel manager and concierge staff were very helpful. Lobby is stunning. We ended up in a room with a balcony with no seating, and no shower ( just a tub with a hand sprayer). My husband thought it was weird but I didn’t mind it.

A property will get old, but the quality of staff will hugely compensate for it. From the front desk to the concierge; to those working in the restaurants and the housekeeping they all make your stay such a great experience. All are helpful, smiley and engaging, ready to serve and answer to your needs. They bother to check if you need a refill of coffee, asked if there is anything else they can. Good job everyone. What have they done to the staff training or is it just the natural warmth of Tunxi people? Whatever it is, definitely my best stay of this trip!

The hotel & room is clean & comfortable! Like it very much. However, a big couch takes almost 1/8 of the room's space making it looks small. Bathroom is also really clean, has both tubs & shower. The only con for the hotel is breakfast just so so. Cups & dishes are chipped, should be replaced.

Good hotel for western visitors to Huangshan --possibly the best. However, dining quality is questionable. HVAC is poor. Staff seem sometimes bewildered. Seems like a government hotel with Crowne Plaza branding. Serious questions about room cleanliness.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The dinner and breakfast buffet was the best part! The staff does their best to help you with anything you need. We took a taxi to the Yellow Mountains for the day, and concierge was very helpful in setting it up. Highly recommended!
