Too dark rooms, no restaurant and bar for the evening, language barrier, many of the staff doesn’t speak english. From a Hilton hotel I expect more The good thing is that this property is near a nice street with many restaurants and coffeeshops. The breakfast buffet is poor comparing with other hotels

Very clean, English speaking employees, good amenities. Near restaurants walkable. Near Shanghai national exhibition center. Rooms are comfortable but on the smaller side.

Good mixed of restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff. Especially Marilyn Xu who is kind and helpful to us. She is very knowledgeable and have all the answers we consulted. Very impressed.

The hotel is well designed and stylishly furnished. Our overall experience was great. However, breakfast and other meals were definitely not up to standard and does not love up to expectations. Service in general was amateur and could be improved (no concierge, no assistance with luggage, no valet parking etc). The waking street adjacent to the hotel is a great supplement. Plenty of restaurant options there.

First time, wonderful experience. I'll definitely come back.

Very new hotel in a new area. Very convenient for the NECC where I was attending the China Cycle show. They had a shuttle bus to the show each morning which took 10 minutes (although it was not advertised anywhere). No idea if they offered a return pick up service as that wasn’t advertised at all either. It’s a simple 30 minute walk or 10 minute taxi ride though. Rooms are modern, well decorated and well maintained. The Japanese style electronic toilet was a nice quirky feature. Beds are very comfortable and tv has a couple of good quality English channels including HBO. WiFi is reasonable speed most of the time, but can get slow in the evenings. On site restaurant served the best western breakfast I have ever had in China so that was a nice surprise. There is also a selection of good quality restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel serving lunch or dinner. Some good bars too. The lobby bar in the hotel is ok, but you have to ask at reception to get served. The hotel gym and swimming pool are in a separate building at the rear of the hotel and are again modern and well maintained. Overall a great hotel which I will definitely stay at again whenever I visit the NECC.

Great new hotel near Hongqiao train station. If you need to stay in the Hongqiao area this is a great choice!

Generally is ok but some comments as follows: - Auto door at main gate is temporary close causing some inconvenience when I was with big luggage, having a person to provide assistance temporary at entrance will be great - Distance from hotel to nearest metro station is too far for walking, only 2 trips shuttle bus is too less, as foreigner to get taxi during rush hour from metro to hotel is not easy, plus bad smoking smell all taxi, I don't like taxi, having more frequent & flexible transfer hotel-metro-hotel will be great - Almost no restaurants nearby hotel, eating at hotel every day is very boring, I am looking for more variety of food at hotel

Hotel is conveniently located for the exhibition centre. Rooms are new, and staff are helpful. A good option for business trips in this area. Would happily stay again.

We like to stay here for the Automechanika grade show. Hotel facilities are well maintained, and the staff make an effort to be helpful. The executive lounge is a good option. Overall hotel offers good value.

Attended a trade show at the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Centre and stayed at the Melia which was modern and conveniently located 10 minutes away by taxi. It is clean, great breakfast and enjoyed a massage at their in-house spa.

Very new and comfortable hotel convenient to reach the exhibition centre. The staff go out of their way to help, only draw back is that there is not a lot gojngbon around the area and Metro station is near the exhibition centre

This hotel was built in 2017, so everything is still very new. I was arranged a king-bed room on the 7th floor, facing the main street. The room is spacious, modern, clean, well equipped and designed. You don’t need to bring electronic adapters because you will find all major types of sockets in it, plus 2 USBs and a wireless speaker. The flat TV can be paired with smart phones. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are a bit too soft for me. Apart from the hardware, I want to mention about its software (service). Most of the staff whom I met during my 4-day stay were friendly and helpful. Many of them initiated conversation and/or help, and I felt so welcome. Special thanks to Jenny Ye, Customer Experience Manager, and Jamie of F&B, who have been so kind to take care of my requests efficiently and professionally. Don’t get me wrong, I would like to emphasize that the overall service was very good, not just Jenny and Jamie. I am so impressed about this. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant (the only restaurant in the hotel), and I was happy with my food, except my steak which was overlooked. (I ordered medium but it was served well done.) A shopping complex with shops, restaurants, bars and a massage place is just 100 metres from the hotel, but I think it’s only 40-50% occupied. So there would be more to be opened. I had a massage there one evening, which was very nice. Will definitely come back.

Great price for a good hotel near NECC. They were super helpful with Taxi's and their breakfast buffet had tons of options. Would definitely stay here again.

I was not disappointed when i arrived at the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful after a very long flight. Prior to arriving i had emailed the hotel in relation to airport transfer and this was dealt with expeditiously and professional. The transport arrived as planned at the airport and i was quickly taken to the hotel. The hotel is ideally placed for the large exhibition and convention centre. I attended at the exhibition centre and the taxi cost approximately 20 cny ( roughly £10 ) The room at my hotel was gorgeous and probably one of the most comfiest beds i have ever slept on. Tea, coffee making facilities in the rooms are great. There is a pedestrianised area around the corner and this area is being developed but there are already a couple of bars where you can get a drink and some reasonable food at a reasonable price. The staff ( especially Kenneth ) who works in reception were so helpful and did all they could to make my stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. You cant go wrong if you want to stay relatively near the Exhibition and Convention Centre.
