Property is a bit dated, but overall well maintained ,some area shows wear and tear but overall staff is very nice and the location is walking distance to a shopping outlet and eatery, away from heavy tourist areas ideal for a lay back less congested vacation

Our second hotel during our week in xiamen, this hotel is fantastic with a wonderful pool and gym area. The hotel is in a quiet location not far from a sail boating activity area

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions on this occasion from checking to check out it was not the same.

The famous warm chocolate cake is not warm but cold. Some staffs are not familiar with their products. About Chinese restaurant, service is good but food is terrible.

Close to Wutong pier which is quite convenient yet still a few mins drive away. No restaurants nearby which isnt too ideal for late arrivals.

From the bellboy to the front desk during check in, service was very good and attentive. The welcome cookie was indeed delicious. Room was clean and daily housekeeping keep it that way. Comfortable sleep with beautiful bay view. Tried the new Jap restaurant in the hotel, food was good. Only shortfall was they are so new that you can't charge your expense to the room and they don't take foreign credit card. Breakfast buffet spread was decent but can be crowded which affected a little on their service level. Quiet surrounding with no retail outlet but nice place to jog if you are into that. Xiamen Wetland is within walking distance. Overall, great experience. Hopefully they maintain the standard and I will be back.

I walked up to the front desk to check in & was handed a big, warm, fresh chocolate chip cookie. Too early to check in so I was escorted to the executive lounge on the top floor. I spent the next couple hours eating breakfast & snacks while relaxing in the massage chairs & watching tv. Big, bright, clean room with high ceiling. Great view of the water, comfortable large king bed, large screen tv, separate shower & deep soaking tub with a view of the tv thru a glass wall, big desk and chair, small fridge & minibar, laptop size safe in the closet, 2 bottles of water, & robes & slippers. Also given a small map that marked out 3 different length trails nearby if you want to go for a walk or run. Went back to the lounge in the evening for happy hour. A very friendly and helpful employee mamed Mario (definitely not his Chinese name) was packing up the bar & explained that happy hour was over but he offered to bring me a couple beers anyway. He then left out a bottle of whiskey for me to pour a couple more drinks. He even poured me some fresh grapefruit juice into to go cups to take back to my room for later. Had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor. Very authentic - excellent seafood & great dim sum. Overall - staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel was very clean, modern & bright. My room was great. I will definitely stay here again.
