The location is excellent, within walking distance to a local shopping arcade and another high end shopping plaza. The room was small and full of cigarette smell. The bathroom and toilet were below average, with no ventilation fan. The water heater could not keep the water temperature consistently. Water was sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold.

Good service, easy check-in, staff welcoming and happy to speak English. Room was big and clean with a great view, with everything, even USB charging cord. Great location near many good restaurants and a shopping mall. Bus to Harbin airport and local metro are both walkable, but not short walks, some local buses right there though.

Recently stayed at the most foul smelling hotel I have ever stayed at The Huaxi Hotel is close to Snow and Ice World in Harbin and that’s the only asset. I booked two non smoking rooms only to find them as smoking The hotel advised that they can’t stop guests smoking in rooms so if that’s the case why did both rooms have ashtrays.!!!! The stench is overwhelming and had they done the right thing and refunded us as requested we would have stayed elsewhere. The room was dirty, don’t look under the bed, they couldn’t even clean the bathroom toilet or taps. The shower is either buying hot or freezing cold with no in between and the towels are really old and dirty. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I’ve visited 50 countries and had far better accommodation in third world cities. Do yourself a favour - pay a little more and actually get a decent room This hotel should be banned off Expedia it is not fit to stay in, the foul old cigarette smoke renders this place virtually inhabitable. this coupled with the paper thin walls allowing you to hear the neighbours sneezing makes this place a disaster. I will be complaining to Expedia that I was not provided what was paid for - two non smoking rooms which for asthmatics is essential.

Lovely stay. The hotel is located in the center of Hanoi. The breakfast was great, all staff at the restaurant made their best to serve us. Definitely recommend it
