Friendly staffs, the most convenient location that is close to all the food and fun places, safe and clean, big and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend

Location: located above a luxury shopping mall and just a short walk from Daming Lake, Baotun spring and furong street. Room: very good value for money, I booked the premium king room with city view and received a very spacious room on a high floor with views of Daming Lake and Jinan city. The bed was very comfy and the room was well kept and clean. Service: Receptionists were polite and spoke English which made things easier. The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer. Also while out shopping for my partners birthday gift, the hotel left a birthday cake inside our room for when we got back, we didn't tell them it was her birthday - really nice touch!

It was a terrible experience to take for the room to be cleaned. I arrived at the hotel around 3PM, but still was told that the room was not ready for check-in. I waited for another 30 minutes before getting the key card.

The room was spacious. However, it was pretty dirty, far below InterContinental's standard. One or two floors were under construction so the smell in the Lobby was bad.

Very nice hotel and good service

The pool and gym facilities were excellent. The open buffet at night and breakfast in the morning were excellent. Even had a halal food section!!

A real gem in the City of Springs in China, prime location within walking distance of some of the best dining and shopping experience in the city, quality of service and comfort of hotel easily out rivals any 5 star hotel we’ve been to in China. The place simply exuded class as a 5 star hotel should, easily putting many of its counterparts to shame. Staff was courteous to the point of being apologetic (for nothing!). I know it’s a cliche but the experience was truly unforgettable; my wife and kids love the hotel so much, we have no qualms revisiting the city again for the sake of restaying at the hotel, it was that good!

Overall a very pleasant experience. Cosy and comfortable. Quick check in. A relatively new hotel in the middle of th Jinan’s main attractions and surrounded by several shopping Malls a big plus point. Staff are very patient and served with a smile despite me calling them multiple times for some issues mentioned below. Some points to improve on, would be good to put some instructions on the confusing bath tub switch (tap and shower head). Required me to call room service for instruction only to find out the tap switch was faulty, but fixed immediately. So no issues with that. And also would prefer more multi build in travel plugs for a business hotel like this one. Only 1 in the room and 5 other “local” plugs.

In good condition, will stay again next time in Jinan

Waited one and a half hour at check-in as the "rooms were not ready" when arrived arrived around 3.15pm. The reception was indifferent with the situation and didn't care to show sympathy for customers. The bed sheet had a very bad smell. It was so bad that had to call the front desk to have it changed mid night. The breakfast was a chaotic disaster. First was asked to wait as there were no "available tables". By the time finally allowed into the restaurant which was 45 mins before the end of the breakfast time, little food was left. Food tasted bland by InterContinental standards. A complete fail on this occasion.

Wonderful stay! Huge toilet and bath and tub. Loved it . Breakfast has great selections, fresh juices !

In general it is a very good hotel and the fact that the lobby is on the 7th floor is different from other hotels and it gives some personality. BUT! nor in the lobby or at the entrance on the ground floor there is no seating area for waiting people except Elite club members. I had to wait 30 minutes for Check in and the next day almost 45 minutes for my contact to pick me up and I had to stand the whole time.

This is one of my favourite hotels in China. Last year when I came with my wife, it was her top choice also. It has been beautifully modernised and has a combination of excellence and informality. The rooms are beautiful, spotless with some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Food is good, breakfast superb, attentive young staff. My only criticism was that the internet seemed a little slow by comparison to previous stays. No doubt it will be sorted before my next visit. It is also in the centre of Jinan and easy to get out and walk about and so a little shopping and tourism. Overall a lovely place to stay, but is unfortunately now being "upgraded" from a Crowne Plaza to an Intercontinental, so no doubt the rates will go up !

Quality stay all around. Splendid location and amenities combined with professionalism.

Great hotel, at excellent location. Staying here next time in Jinan and bringing my wife, I know she will love it.
