CONVENIENT AND COMFORTABLE STAY. LARGE SPACIOUS ROOMS. GOOD SPREAD FOR BREAKFAST.

Perfect hotel

The room is spacious and the beds very comfortable. The food quality in its restaurants could be better in comparison with many restaurants outside.

Breakfast has variety choices , quite nice location !

I don’t like smell of the room.

The hard product at the property is very good. Spacious room, well appointed furniture, beautiful lobby, in a good location, and all at a reasonable price. The service was poor. Staff appeared well intentioned but poorly trained. For example, while waiting to check-in, a staff member at the front desk told us another desk was open for check-in and asked us to leave the line to go to that desk. The other desk was not open for check-in and we had to rejoin the line. No staff members helped us with luggage when we arrived. When we left, a manager had to prompt a staff member to help us with our luggage before he did so. He was not otherwise busy. He was just staring blankly when the manager prompted him. Overall, beautiful hotel with the potential to be great. We did not have a good service experience but we hope this is something the hotel improves in the future.

Fantastic view of Shanghai buildings and train station. Very fancy room floor to ceiling windows, power curtains, Japanese toilet seat, with wood and marble features throughout. Checked into the room and had a fruit pate waiting for me.

Staff were wonderful and so accommodating

Issue with wifi never consistent - bed sheets were smelly and unpleasant

Room was very warm. An engineer was sent up to fix and did. Staff is very kind and courteous. In Room dining was inedible.

Best hotel they give room early , left our luggage without charge for 1 week while we travel around Asia

I like the electric bidet and the powerful shower.

Would be better if the breakfast can include avocado, grapefruit, kiwi, raspberries, blackberries, walnut and almond. Pumpkin seeds were occasionally not available.

I would to commend Jerome Qiu at the breakfast section for attending to my request to have the kitchen prepare a bowl of oatmeal with red beans added as well as provide me with apple, orange, banana, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. It would be good if kiwi fruit, blackberries, avocado and pomengranate are available.

Everything went smooth. Service was top and everyone was friendly. One of the best hotels in Shanghai for sure.
