As an English speaking guest checking into a Chinese hotel, I was amazed at how quickly the front desk manager assisted the registration clerks sort out my reservation and quickly give me my room key. Great service for a tired traveler in a strange land. Buffet breakfast had lots of choices from Chinese to American. Terrific dumplings in cafe.

設施比較舊 吊燈不是十分乾淨 毛巾亦比較舊 看起來不太乾淨 提供的兩個一次浴帽盒子內居然沒有浴帽 因為忘記帶牙刷 提供的一次性牙刷十分容易令人牙齦出血 吹風機已經很舊而且三分鐘左右發熱程度就能燙手 但熱水爐十分乾淨 入住第二天酒店有幾個員工在清洗大門前的地 酒店並沒有提前通知住客 差點被泡沫和水噴到

每次到北京出差都是住在王府井一帶的酒店，這次是為了靠近北京南站坐高鐵而選了這裡，位置不錯，只是坐機場大巴不知該在哪個站下車，建議還是坐地鐵比較好，早上離開時打車也算容易，附近也能輕易找到吃飯的地方，酒店內原來有京劇演出（需要購票），可惜時間緊迫無遐欣賞，房間可以免費上網，但必須用手提電腦有線連接，在這智能手機流行的年代如果能提供 wifi 就更好了

Though an old hotel, it is in good condition. The room is spacious, and the king bed is huge. It is clean and quiet. Room facilities and supplies are adequate: good central air-conditioning, flat screen TV, hair-dryer, safe, fridge, complimentary bottle water, you name it. Things that are not so good about it: 1. location is not ideal, not near any subway station, though it is only a couple of miles away from the Tian'anmen Sqaure; 2. the room is not very sound-proof and you can hear people walking and talking in the hallway.
The special thing about this hotel is it has a Peking Opera theme and there's even a Peking Opera theatre in the hotel lobby.
All in all, would definitly recommend it for a comfortable yet budgte stay oand a cultural experience.
