Everything was amazing and a wonderful location

Very friendly comfortable guest house

Place was clean, friendly and great value. They even did my friend’s laundry for no charge. The associated restaurant was very good for dinner and not bad for breakfast.

Great place to stay when visiting the lakes. Staff is friendly and the restaurant that is owned by the owner of the accommodations was very good.

Nice settings with right price

Perfect stop on our way to Plitvice Lakes National Park, which was roughly a 15 minute drive. Room was clean, staff were helpful, and the nearby restaurant where we checked in and out had great food. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a quiet street, but only a few minutes’ drive from the national park entrances. Rooms are simple, but comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, better than many accommodations I’ve stayed in. The lodging is under the same ownership as a nearby restaurant, where we had tasty breakfast and dinner, and friendly service.

Tremendous place. Booked a second night within 5 minutes of getting here. The vibe is really good, it’s clean, and the owner’s restaurant is absolutely delicious.

A fabulous small house with everything you could want and more than you would expect. Family owned & operated, and they were all very kind, informative, and friendly. Check in & out was at a nearby Bistro (amazing food and service) was quick and simple. They have multiple tables and chairs to hand out at outside the home, and relaxing hammocks. 10/10 would recommend and would return!

Really cute location and nice people. The check in is at the restaurant where you are greeted with a welcome drink (of your choice). The room was quite nice. The bed was 2 twins made together, but this seems to be the standard throughout Croatia and Italy? Would recommend if you need accommodations near the Park (10 minute drive).

We had a fantastic stay at House Rustico! We were welcomed at the nearby Restaurant Vila Velebita with a complementary drink. Everyone was really friendly and the check in was really straightforward. The property is very close by and is in a relaxed, quiet location with plenty of parking and a nice place to sit outdoors. The room was super comfortable, very clean and we felt very relaxed there. The check out was very simple and was also at the restaurant where we had an excellent breakfast before our day at the Plitvice Lakes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

Amazing service. The room was very clean, new and comfortable. There is a restaurant nearby (owned by the same person) and the food there is great — went there both nights. Plitvice lakes is nearby by car. We didn’t have a car, but the hotel owner drove us there for a reasonable fee! He will also drive you to the nearest bus station for free. Comfortable and well equipped .very friendly and courteous hosts .great for a few nights stop at plitvice lakes .check in process was easy and even offered a complimentary welcome drink . Highly recommended!!

Great cabin!

Super clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable, room spacious and A/C worked perfectly when needed, otherwise the windows were open for fresh air. Outside there is a sitting area with chairs, hammocks, shaded by tall trees, perfect for working on a laptop or reading — or just listening and enjoying outside. There are areas to walk your dog off property as well. The housekeeping staff were amazing — so nice, friendly and they keep the place impeccable. The owner’s mother was a total sweetheart! For food, their restaurant is just quick walk away and has a huge menu, and has options for non-meat eaters, both vegan and vegetarian (grilled veggies —mushrooms…..wow!). Don’t feel like walking? They have bikes you can ride. The National Park is a short drive away (suggest you make reservations). Our stay at House Rustico was the best stay of our whole time in Croatia.

This property was perfect! Amazing hospitality! Delicious food at the bistro with a welcome drink. The property had thought of every detail - cookies and a candy basket, a kitchen with full dishware, a patio with a dog house and clothesline, a washing machine, showers in each of the three bathrooms, ample sleeping space and so much more! The owners/managers were readily available to help with any needs and were so friendly. I highly recommended this place! Wish we had more time to spend here. Also, easy driving distance to the National Park.

It was great to stay the house and having dinner, for example, BBQ, at the restaurant owned by the owner.

We loved how peaceful it was. The rooms were wonderful but whatvwe loved most was the outside common space. Reading on the hammocks was definitely a favorite of ours. The host amd staff were wonderful as well and very noce. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

The property was super cute & clean with common outdoor spaces with hammocks and tables to sit, relax and have wine & play cards etc… The owners are super nice & left home made cookies for us. They own a restaurant near by & the food is delicious. It’s a short drive to Plitvice Lakes NP so great location if you want to visit the park.
