Such a beautiful place. I did a solo trip and would do it again. Felt safe and staff were friendly. Great experience.

I had a great stay at this resort, Soooo much stuff to do as there is a beach strip right behind the resort. I seen a lot of reviews about bugs but the resort is sorta jungle themed so of course there’s bugs. I had one in my room which was like a beetle but other than that I had no issues with bugs. The tropical suits are not Luxury they are tropical themed suites exactly what they are meant to be so it really blows my mind at the negative reviews. If you want luxury book the other side! However the ambiance of the tropical side is amazing and I enjoyed my stay.

Loved my stay at the Kontiki! The workers were nice, very friendly. Private pools kept clean. The beach clubs and restaurants nearby are easy to navigate!

I want to begin by acknowledging Christy and Jonathan, who were truly wonderful. Their customer service, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate us were the best part of this stay. They were kind, attentive, and clearly tried to help as much as possible. Unfortunately, the hotel itself does not meet expectations, especially considering the luxury prices being charged. We initially booked a swim-up pool room, but upon arrival the room had a strong sewage odor and was clearly not suitable for guests. Staff immediately acknowledged the issue, and we were moved. After viewing two other rooms, we decided to upgrade to the penthouse in hopes of resolving the problems. While the penthouse offered a beautiful view, several issues followed. The lighting did not work properly, and maintenance was requested around 9:00 p.m. on Friday. No one arrived until the next morning, and the issue was not fully resolved. Shortly after, the electrical outlets stopped working as well. We left for the evening, and when we returned, nothing had been repaired. Instead, we were provided with long extension cords to power lights and devices throughout the penthouse, which is unacceptable for a space marketed as luxury. Although staff were consistently apologetic and friendly, there were no effective solutions or meaningful attempts to correct the ongoing issues. The luxury villas are stunning—5 stars for the rooms. Skip all the other options—they’re not worth it. But if you want to sleep before midnight, forget it. Wednesdays and Fridays mean massive parties, followed by loud guests wandering around. Customer service is useless when you raise issues. Parking was easy and secure

The Kontiki was a very nice hotel. I really enjoyed my time there. My only cons is that it would be nice if they had a bit more nightly events, and better food options. Also, I stayed in one of the suites that came with the private pool with a sea view, unfortunately my view was not of the sea. It was more of bushes and trees. I feel if your marketing the room as a sea view, it needs to be in fact a sea view. I don’t think that people should pay an extra price for that particular price when their view is significantly limited/no view at all. My room was 6102.

Easy parking, gorgeous pools and all the staff we interacted with were incredibly nice! Rooms are a bit rundown and the beds could definitely use an upgrade. Beautiful resort overall though and you can't beat the location for shopping, dining, entertainment and the stunning beach!

This was my second time at Kontiki. Everything was excellent. I just hope next time we visit, we can have the breakfast option included in the price, but affordable like the first time we went 2 years ago… now is very expensive.

Top vakantie gehad! Strand was prachtig en op loopafstand. Genoeg restaurant opties op loopafstand. Prachtig uitzicht. Personeel was erg behulpzaam en vrolijk. Wij verbleven in een lodge en die werd iedere dag schoongemaakt. Het was een ruime lodge met een balkon en een zitje op het balkon. Ik zou het zeker aanraden om hier te verblijven als je naar Curaçao gaat!

Parking was easy enough and not too far from the room. The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, courteous and helpful with recommendations for doing things in the area. I highly recommend The Kontiki Beach Resort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Close to all the beach clubs and many restaurants. The staff on site are wonderful and the room was beautiful!

The hotel is cool, with a beach vibe, the location is very good, and the beach is very beautiful. However, the service at this hotel is quite poor: we arrived and could not access the Wi-Fi; we had to go to the reception several times to try and sort it out. There is no room service, as we requested a water refill and it never came; we had to go to the reception to get it. The worst part of all was that upon arrival on Monday, we had already reserved the dinner that would take place on Wednesday at the beach club, as suggested by the staff member, and after confirming on Wednesday that everything was set, we arrived at dinner and our name was not on the list. The reservation had not been made in our name, and it was our wedding anniversary. At least the hostess was kind and managed to fit us in at a table, but it was a very unpleasant situation. Furthermore, at this Cabana Club, there is no service on the beach; if you want a drink or something, you have to go to the bar and struggle to be served. Regarding the hotel, the rooms are okay, but they are not very clean, and the bed is not very comfortable, besides the pillows being bad and there being no sheet, only a heavy duvet. It's a shame; the hotel has a cool concept, but the service does not live up to it.
