The house is right in the village, handy for the 2 tavernas and store. Also, it's literally around the corner from excellent quality bike hire. The room had everything I needed and was very good value. There's a terrace in the garden with views over the village and valley where you can enjoy the golden sunsets.

Tout est au rendez vous pour un sejour tranquille: la maison est magique cest tout ce que l'on aime: calme, authenticite, et beauté du lieu: superbe village en pierres et tres bien situé. Les habitants st chaleureux et nous avons eu droit a un accueil au top par le proprietaire

This is more like traditional greek rooms than a hotel, but all the facilities you would expect in a hotel room were provided . There is a shared terraced with a view over the whole village. The room was clean and everything worked (hot water , air conditioning ). There is a small cooking area and you can prepare food in the room. The owner supplied us with a lot of free fruit. It was very hot and we were the in September - the air conditioning was essential. We could get the temperature down enough during the evening to turn it off and sleep in peace at night (it was not very noisy, we just don't like the buzz) Although you can not other food at the room the tavern in the village centre did excellent food at reasonable prices (don't wait for the bill though- just go in and pay at the end) There is another restaurant in the village (at the top, short uphill walk) but we did not eat there. The views from the top restaurant were stunning . This is a good location to drive to Nicosia, Paphos and Lemesos as the village is not too far off the main road and you can also go into more mountainous areas and visit other villages .

Vasilopoulos Traditional House is a very interesting place to go and stay. Despite he hotel has no room service, no TV and internet work very well in the first floor, it is a very family place and amazing to relax. The owner is a such kind man and provides a welcome with nice fruits and very often invite guests to go to his farm to have fruits from trees. Kids love it. You can find a nice tavern arround with good food for a good price. It is a place to have a car WITH GPS rented for sure. It is a "traditional house" to comeback.

I'm sure all the wonderful things that have been said in the other reviews are true. This place has a nice perch on a side street in a small town with great atmosphere. Hanging out there on one of the terraces would be delightful in just the being there. The location is fantastic... but finding it is not. The icon on the website map is not accurate. I didn't see any signs along the main road directing me to this property. Street addresses in a town like this are not useful. It's on hill where many streets wind around. When you get to town, ask a local where it is. Don't get lost driving into streets so narrow your car gets stuck trying to back out when you can't continue forward. When someone finally pointed it out to me, the only sign I saw as a 12x24 inch placard above an ordinary door. However they do have convenient parking a few steps away. But that's just part of my story. My booking was in early March and I arrived at their door at 7:05PM which was about an hour after sunset... and found that they had closed for the day... shuttered and locked up tight. Granted this was in the off-season, but a reservation is a reservation. I had to stay elsewhere and finding that is another story. It was not a pleasant evening. The 1s and the 5 reflect my experience. My ratings for the things I didn't experience are a neutral 3.

This guest house (let's not call it a hotel--it isn't) is absolutely wonderful. It has a traditional feel to it, and you're in the midst of this small and very friendly village. Terrific atmosphere, very comfortable, by far my favorite stay in Cyprus!

Bonne situation géographique, Pension et village très agréables. Les matelas de couchage sont sur des planches de bois = attention au dos! Les propriètaires sont invisibles! Nous ne les avons vus qu'à l'arrivée après les avoir attendus 1H30 dans le village!

Absolutely lovely location, friendliest service and most generous hosts I've ever come across. Would highly recommend!
