Family of 4- kids ages 8&11- Hands down a great place for families. Felt high end luxurious even with it being a family friend resort. There was something to do for everyone. The property is well maintained and everyone is very nice. Food was pretty good for all inclusive. The restaurants were great! Donny at the front desk- was so helpful! We upgraded to a swim up and it was well worth it! We all enjoyed that before dinner and late nights. We stayed during April break but it never seemed very busy which was really nice. There are fountains everywhere and the beach is kept clean and there are shady areas and lounge chairs along the beach. We didn’t spring for the upgraded Unique but we never saw the difference. I would say the main difference was that one of the bars had a few diff. top end bottles but that was really it. The kids club / activities for the kids was ok but our kids only went for like 20 minutes. The water park was just right for the kids our age. We even went on with the kids which was fun. The life guard was so helpful and helped us find seating when we had no seat. All of the workers worked hard- servers, room service, waiters… Tips go a long way. We would highly recommend this place with no hesitation. We loved the app feature- everything you need is right in there. Booking dinners, room service, maintenance, etc. Very user friendly! Occasionally it was down but wasn’t a major problem! Enjoy paradise at Lopesan!

Check in was very slow and long, they didnt have my room ready or the right bed combination, so i was upgraded to VIP for the inconvenience of my son sleeping on a sofa bed instead of a bed.
Vip is just a separate beach area, a beach small buffet style restaurant, beautiful location, food not so great.
The food at Atlantico is good, the family side is really loud because of the amount of kids. The adult side is quieter and nicer.
The staff is friendly.
The hotels layout is a bit weird. Expect lots of walking.
Our room was roomy and nice, we had a swim up, but fou d a roach.
We had dinner reservations at Inari Japanese restaurant and there was a roach on my chair, which grossed me out.
Theres one main pool, no swim up bar however.
But there are servers walking around often and bringing drinks,which was nice.
The teen club was a flop.
The Michael Jackson show was really well executed and the performers are really good, thoroughly enjoyed that show.
Aside from that, the hotel is dark, moody vibe, its really prettu at night, their drinks are actually really good quality, i dont know if that had anything to do with my vip bracelet but they did not disappoint.

The property is very nice looking, modern, and looks pretty new.
That’s the only thing that was a positive. Everything else top to bottom was zero stars… horrible service in every area, crazy wait times, mostly rude and non-catering staff, food was always the same and was of a lower standard. Lack of management and anyone to take care of any issues.

When a maintenance issue occurs in a customers room and your employees use the towels to stop the leak. You should replace the towels and not wait 14 hrs and 5 trips down to your "useless" customer experiece rep before you have to loose your temper after waiting and waiting only to see complimentary towels sent to the room next door because they are a UNIQUE client and screw the customer who has no towels for their family to shower with then all of a sudden new towels arrive at your room. Also whem people pay good money to come to your resort for 5 days they should not be locked out of booking any of your restaurants the entire week . We could not get a reservation for 3 of your restaurants and had to eat at the buffet instead which was ok but we paid for the experience of your 5star resort and was not provided with that. I was at no time offered a way to get a reservation i was not credited anything for my inconvenience with the maintence or offered any upgrade . When i asked to speak to management i was told they are not on site and the best they could do is put in a request for them to call me or i could speak to a supervisor. Which i never recieved a call. Vwry disappointed i have stayed at 3 other resorts in Punta Cana and ha e never had anything close to an experience like this .

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Lopesan, we were impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional service. The resort is simply stunning—beautifully landscaped grounds, sparkling pools, and elegant architecture that exudes both style and comfort.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered breathtaking views. The housekeeping team ensured it was always pristine. The variety and quality of food at the buffet and specialty restaurants exceeded our expectations—plenty of fresh, delicious options every day.
What truly sets Hotel Lopesan apart is the staff. Every team member we encountered was courteous, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. Special thanks to Heriberto and his team at the Maun lobby bar for going above and beyond.
The entertainment, spa, and beachfront access made it the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. We left feeling recharged and already planning our next visit.

Some of the staff was racist towards us and treated us differently. Two bars didn’t serves us but served other guests and we were nothing but respectful and even tipped good. One of our rooms had roaches and the other had a broken bathroom door, fridge, and the shower head. Asked to speak to manager and they kept saying their in meetings, asked for corporates number and they claimed they don’t have a cooperate office. Will never be returning to this resort again.

Hi, we had our holiday 3days ago.
Overall experience was good but few things weren’t as expected.
The gym is open from 7am which for me was too late. Kids are waking up super early, especially on holiday as they can’t wait to start the day. I couldn’t really train so I did run on the beach at 6am instead.
The distance from our room to aquapark was pretty big- 7min walking which was tough with little children but hey ho we’ve made a good daily steps hahaha.
The few staff people wasn’t speaking English very well and they needed to ask colleagues for help which was a bit annoying cos we needed to explain everything from the beginning with being unsure if we are understood.
Food was good except breakfast, it was always the same so we got bored..
The steakhouse restaurant had hight service but our steaks came unpleasant and very chewy..
French restaurant was the best, the quickest and had amazing fillet steaks!
Overall I can high recommend this place!

This hotel charges me AN EXTRA GUEST FEE when I did not have any extra guest. The Total amount bill was different from which was chargd on my card. The receptionist refused to get a manager/ supervisor when I requested to speak to one. Literally said there's nothing he can do.
Be careful with these hotels, they are a RIP off.
