un excelente servicio

Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal.

Une petite semaine au calme. L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais il y a des tuk-tuks à tous les coins de rues et cela permet d'être au calme. Les employés sont à l'écoute, vous mettent à l'aise et sont là pour vous aider (leur chien est adorable). Côté propreté rien à redire la chambre et les sanitaires/douches sont très propres. Pour le confort, pareil le lit est confortable, il y avait un ventilateur au cas où dans la chambre. Bonus non négligeable, l'internet est plus que correct.

The management was so nice. We were having a strike at the time and I wasn't able to get there on the exact date. They were very kind about all of it.

Enjoyed my stay in Hotel Alcazaba. The location is above the town so you have a great view from the top floor patio. I would stay there again.....

It's a bit of a walk up the hill but means you have a great view of the sea and the town. There is a kitchen you can use on the first floor and a lovely rooftop to chill on. The owner is really friendly and the family are super nice. Breakfast was included through Expedia and was eggs on toast, a fresh fruit juice and coffee/tea. Would highly recommend this place if you're thinking of staying in PL.

Maria and osvaldo,the host are so nice!we had a perfect stay with them! We arrived at 5h in the morning by the night bus,they got up and gave us our room with a smile even if the check in was at 14h that day! The room was clean with a view on the coast! The roof area with hamacs and 360• view was perfect to chill! There is a small kitchen with everything you need to cook,always good! 5 mins walk from the beach and supermarket. Good value for money. The only issue was the hot water,was hard to get it running.

Had a spacious and clean room, although it's a little old. Lovely rooftop terrace, Shared kitchen facility if you like to economize and cook your own meals. Breakfast was fresh made, to order. they helped me with tour arrangement, both to Isla de la Plata and Agua Blanca. Easy walk into town or 50 cents for a moto-taxi. would stay here again.

Agréable hotel tenu pour une famille extrêmement gentille et dévouée. La chambre est nettoyée tous les jours. A environ 10-15 min à pied du bord de mer. Possibilité de prendre un mototaxi. En contrepartie, c'est calme. Très bon petit déjeuner. Agréable terrasse commune. La cuisine commune manque cruellement d'équipements mais on peut en emprunter aux proprios. Elle mériterait un peu plus de propreté.

I booked hostal alcazaba cause it had best rate on a private room with the bathroom .What a good decision .The minute I met lovely owner Maria i felt right at home and her personal touch is just like a family would treat you .Also I didn’t book tour through her but she had better prices for the same tour .Her breakfast is amazing as well
