Hostería Papagayo es un hogar lejos de su hogar. El lugar es bellísimo, con muchas actividades y un personal super buena gente.

Bardzo przyjazna i pomocna obsługa. Hostel bardzo wygodny i bardzo ładny. Na terenie dużo zwierząt, swobodnie chodzący osiłek i przyjazne psy. Jedzenie w restauracji bardzo smaczne i duże porcje. Polecam ten hotel

The property is beautiful. There are friendly dogs, horses, chicken, goats. . . And a spectacular view of the mountains. The design of the restaurant and check-in area is gorgeous. The manager is attentive and kind. So happy we found this gem!

This is a wonderful property. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The property is very pretty and quiet. The location is awesome for day trips into the mountains. I highly recommend it!!

A most relaxing, pleasant stay. Could not imagine a better place situated in a rural area with a delightful small town nearby.

Pros: Nice room, very close to Cotopaxi, animals (geese, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, lama) on site. Nice staff. Cons: the heater was too loud, not that easy to find (there is a turn from the highway that can be easily missed).

It was a great experience overall. We wanted a place near the Cotopaxi volcano and this was a great choice. The property is beautiful and you can do several things onsite. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet retreat or a place to rest after hiking the volcanoes.

Maybe the hotel was not that bad but it was not what I was looking for. Beautiful nice foto shop pictures but a dissapointing experience. They were expecting me to pay for two nights when i just booked one.

nice hotel with separate little houses as bedroom, a hot tub, an impala and different ways to entertain you. As the next place to eat somthing is far out, you are forced to eat somting in the restaurant, which is a little bit expensive.

We only stayed one night because our itinerary did not allow for more. Nonetheless we were very happy with the accommodation. The room was cozy, the food in the restaurant very tasteful and the staff nice and helpful. The only downside was the argument at check in, I had to prove the price of my booking already included taxes because the receptionist wanted to charge another 12% on top of the amount that already included VAT.

Although we missed the exit the first time and had to make a couple u-turns, when we finally reached Papagayo we loved it. It is quiet, tucked away on a nice property, and has great service. The main building is historic and cozy, but the cabin was new, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Dinner was delicious.

Hostería Papagayo is nice, quiet, and small hotel. It is close to Quito, 45 minute drive. Good for a short stay (1 night), not more than that since there is not much to do nearby.

Voy regularmente porque es un lugar hermoso y cercano a varias montañas para hacer hiking o montar a caballo...

Hosteria Papagayo was a lovely place for us to rest and relax after hiking Quilatoa and Cotopaxi. We enjoyed exploring the farm - free ranging chickens, ducks, cow etc - with our 2 year old son. The room was nicely furnished and the breakfast was good. Wifi was good and water pressure/temperature was good. The hotel staff also kindly accommodated our food requests. Some negatives: There was not much else to do on the property or in the surrounding area. It was expensive to get transportation in and out of the property. Laundry was expensive as well. The playground was not really usable (dirty, and the slides and seesaw were just way to steep for anyone to use) - a minor detail for anyone with kids. We also had a slight concern with the way the property handled guests' private information and hope that they had taken appropriate measures after we alerted them of it. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay for us to rest and recharge before we proceeded on for the rest of our trip and we were appreciative of the staff accommodating our various special requests. The room rates were considerably lower than other similar "farm"/resort properties in the area, which perhaps compensated for the more expensive incidental costs. Probably more suited for guests who have their own transportation to travel around the area.

We stayed one night after Volcan Cotopaxi visit. It has country setting which makes morning stroll enjoyable. It is though on a private road which is a little walk with luggage on foot. Wooden floor In the hallway is sqeaky. Room is roomy, bed is comfortable with plug in heater for use. Dining room has a nice setting. Food is somewhat pricey. Quality of food served has room for improvement!
