Cordial staff. Room clean. Bed was comfortable. They provide breakfast at a cafe in the village.

Lovely place to stay in Grasmere, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was super clean and looked completely brand new with some great toiletries. Just a super relaxing stay.

Though we encountered some hiccups with the water-heating unit, with help from Mike and his mum it worked out fine. They were very helpful and attentive to my every need, and went above and beyond in their efforts. I am so grateful.

Absolutely stunning views from our room which was very cosy. Staff are friendly very responsive definitely go check out there cafe in town Freda & Ray best breakfast I have had in a while.

Convenient to the lakes area. Between Keswick and Ambleside. Never saw or spoke to owner.

I stayed in the Helm Crag room which has fantastic views of the surrounding hills. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower superb. The whole room is immaculate and super clean. I didn’t want to leave! The owner was very welcoming and helpful and easy to contact if you have any queries. I would recommend highly.

Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable and high standard of cleanliness.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Lots of light in the room, access to the back yard from the large bathroom and a nice view of the fells from our window. Easy self check in. There's no breakfast on site but there's a tasty breakfast at Freda and Ray's cafe just a couple of minutes walk into Grasmere. Great location for lots of walks around Grasmere and I recommend the restaurant in walking distance called the Jumble Room.

Great property—perfect location and all needed amenities for a successful tour of the Lake District.

Right on the edge of Grasmere village, a maximum 10 minute walk. Suite was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Two pubs within walking distance, the best being the Travellers Rest, excellent food. One thing to note, no breakfast is included with this accommodation but you do get a discount at a good local 'cafe'.

The suite was very roomy with a modern bathroom and plenty of seating place, including the outside patio. Michael was a very pleasant host who couldn't do enough to make my stay a comfortable one. One notable highlight was the digital radio!

Lovely stay at Chestnut Villa. Room was well furnished. Bed was very comfy. Had a little sitting room. Bathroom was fab with great fixture and fittings. Rain shower was amazing. Great views both out of the back and front windows.

Our room was amazing - well apportioned, with a luxurious bathroom and very comfortable bed. My only criticism is that we paid extra for a king bed and ended up in a double. The room was so fantastic though that we still felt we got more than our moneys worth. This is a great value in an amazing area. If I lived in the UK I'd return here often.

Right little treat of a property. About a 12 min walk to the town (adorable town). We had a suite room which had a lounge and small outdoor seating area which was super cute. The bathroom is of a very high quality, clean and Morden. The lounge area is the perfect size. It’s all quite cosy and spacious at the same time. The bed and sofa are both top levels of comfort, really high quality and well thought out. There’s a cute lil fridge which fitted a bottle of champagne and snacks #girlsnight. Love that there was card games included in the room, it sets a sweet atmosphere up. The views from the back door are stunning, you can see every part of nature right there. Mike was a delight; helpful, kind, wonderful mannerisms even at late hours of the night and early hours of the morning. The breakfast cafe is gorgeous; high quality, stylish and perfect for people watching. We would definitely come again, no doubt.
