Lovely clean hotel. Very friendly staff. The bar and restaurant below the hotel was excellent. Food was top notch and again excellent service. Would definitely rebook when next in bristol

Hotel was easy to find and in a good location near lots of things to do. Receptionist at check in was an absolute doll, very friendly and my room was even upgraded for free. The room was clean, bed soft, noise level was pretty good. The building itself is pretty old, the rooms have physical keys and old style doors and the floors are a bit creaky, but that's not a problem. Great place for the price, would absolutely stay there again.

Good location,staff were lovely, room was ok,but was cold in the night ! And two beds pushed togeather to make a big one wasn't very comfortable! Especially for the price! But was nice and would stay again.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The only downside is noise from a cellar wine bar. I was fortunately able to change room. However, ground floor rooms can be disturbed by noisy parties.

Given a room with no working bedroom lights. They couldnt fix the issue and I ended up with a tiny desk lamp and the glow of the tv as my only light source. I was there for an exam so this was horror as I couldnt really revise. Clean bathroom but poor draining bathtub which left me wading in a pool of water even with a short shower. Couldnt even phone the front desk as my room had no phone. Bathtub still waterlogged when i checked out over 12hrs later. All they offered was 25% refund for such poor conditions. Such poor response when so many things went wrong.

The check in was fine. The room was on the ground floor above a night club which were not made aware. The music was so loud that we were unable to hear the TV and trying to get to sleep was pointless, at one point people were banging on the ceiling which was our floor!! This has got to be the worst Hotel room I have ever stayed in. Also the shower head won't hold up when you have a shower. On a positive the bedding was crisp and clean. Room 12 avoid. When we checked out they said the management would be in touch!!!! Still waiting.

Aged room but excellent location and friendly staff

Nice little room, ideal for a short stay. Comfy bed & well appointed bathroom. Faces a busy road, so some traffic noise, but convenient for Clifton village area & buses into & out of city centre.

Everything was fine as expected. However, the double bed was rather small. I'm sure i've not experienced one like it in the past twenty years. The staff were great and very helpful.

The windows did not open and there was no climate control in the room - only a fan. I was in desperate need of fresh air/climate control throughout the night and hardly slept at all.

Room had a crushed biscuit under the bed visible from bathroom. Sheets smelt used. The room was hot. My suggestion would be to close down in honesty.

Lovely hotel in a good location near most things in Bristol. Room is comfortable, a little small, but fine for a couple of nights. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und eng. Die Einricjtung veraltet. Unser Zimmer war direkt über der Lüftung der Restaurants die 12h am tag lief. Keine anständige Klimaanlage da nur ein Ventilator. Dadurch stand die Hitze Tag und Nacht im Zimmer.
