Restaurant staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. Check in staff were ill informed and not too friendly.

Convenient location for flights out of Gatwick Airport, and very kind staff! The room was clean and modern, with everything we needed after a long travel day. The breakfast was top tier with lots of variety (it opened at 6am so we were able to eat before our morning flight). Highly recommend.

Pros: location (can't be closer to airport), staff are nice Cons: room conditions (barely acceptable), food (dinner was just ok but breakfast was so bad. Every item of food that we tried felt old and inedible)

Clean room, easy to get to from the train station and good service

2nd stay in the last month. Close to terminals. Chexk in easy but the restaurant could be better organised.

Overnight family stay prior to flight. Hotel and staff were excellent. Bar food/drink was good albeit slightly pricey. Does what it says on the tin.

Everything was great except for the sound of the air conditioning switching on every 20 seconds or so.

Well located for airport with a friendly check in. Bar food service was good with janette(?) I think reeally good. Unfortunately the restaurant operation was very poor. A lot of the staff didnt seem to know the very basics and the service was way below par. With a pretty limited menu, it was disappointing that the first 3 dishes i selected were all unavailable (i was told that the chef was working hard to source them for days; one of which was a chicken burger....!). However the most annoying thing was that the server charged you at the begining of taking your order and if you wanted any items thereafter you had to pay each time e.g. you had to pay to order another beverage with your meal, separately to order desserts, separately for coffee's etc) - a ludicrous system that ruined the meal and a wholly unacceptable way to treat hotel guests. We had a calamity of mistakes throughout as a result. This "computet says no" system and approach is a decision taken by senior management and therefore they need to explain such a crazy inhospitable approach to their restaurant operation and implemented by staff who didn't appear to have received any training. Within walking distance from South Terminal of LGW. Not much amenities around. Nearby M&S store and Mcdonolds near a BP petrol station. Well equipped gym. Ideal for short stay

The staff were very welcomi g and answered my queries. The room smelt of sewerage and the toilet seat was insafe. I did not report either issues as I left at 4am. Wake up call delivered on time

2nd time here in a week and cannot fault anything. The staff just amazing and go above and beyond. Will only ever stay here now just perfect to rest before the next flight.

Perfect place for stopping over at if you have an early morning flight. Room nice and comfortable and can easily get something to eat here. Already booked to come back next week.
