Having stayed at this hotel previously,we were hoping for a pleasant enjoyable stay as we had before. How wrong could we be, The room we were allocated was dirty so much so my partner went around the room with wet wipes to remove dust and filth from surfaces and mirrors.In the bathroom the lino flooring hadn't been mopped and the skirting boards haven't been cleaned for the past 6months I would say.The shower door leaks and the sealant around the bath is loose and as got black mould on it...The extractor fan was clogged with dust meaning it doesn't work and again hasn't been cleaned in ages.When staying in hotels the minimum we expect is cleanliness and this room was a disgrace, it's obvious nobody is checking the rooms after the cleaners have been in...

I stayed in a budget room and was surprised at how good it was, clean, comfortable bed and a decent bathroom.

Close to the cricket ground.

Initially well presented hotel with welcoming/helpful receptionist. Bedroom had great view over North Bay and the castle. The public rooms downstairs had clearly been recently updated. The bedrooms were in need of similar attention. Functional (basic wardrobe, small desk) at best with the bathroom finishes requiring attention (gaps around the toilet soil pipe and a minute shelf above the basin. That said, all the plumbing worked as required.

Looks nice from the outside and the bar area looks new. But the room was poor quality. I had low expectations because the price was so low but it was slightly worse than I thought. It was small, furniture was old and broken and it smelled like a dog had been in there. Staff good /room poor fixtures poor jamdles loose and poor maintained /ensuite shower temperature poor never went totally cold however did fluctuations and hose leaked/bed head boards moved side ways allowing pillows to slip between baed and wall/ensuite fan very noisy No lift working

The staff were fantastic and this place accommodated us last minute and made us feel very welcome. fanstastic hotel wont use another on our scarborough visits now.

The bathroom plumbing, flooring, (moving) toilet and plastering were pretty bad. Bed was okay. TV was 25 years old. Breakfast was expensive.

This property appears to be a functional 2 star establishment, that's clean enough, &, efficiently run by its staff. Whilst the cuisine is excellent, I believe, that having to pay for each evening dinner on top of the basic cost of accommodation (£243 in my case staying for 5 nights), when, compared to staying at the Grand Hotel in Scarborough, where, I stayed for the same duration during July last year, costing £425.00 single supplement half board. My overall experience of staying in the Delmont Hotel leaving considering returning to the Grand Hotel.

The Delmont hotel is a clean and well managed hotel with friendly and helpful staff on duty 34 hours . The room i stayed in was a little on the small size but served its purpose as a base for a weekend stay , the bathroom was upto date with both a standard shower head and rainfall head room also had all tea/coffee facilities on the downside the window would not open so there was a lack of ventilation when warm . The hotel also offers a eat all you can breakfast for a small charge and also has a restaurant serving traditional and sea food meals .

Really nice stay at the Delmont. Amazing view from the room & it had everything needed. The parking was really easy to sort at reception on arrival and hotel was in an ideal place for getting around the rest of Scarborough. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a really nice welcoming atmosphere. It is a big place and they are in the process of making lots of ongoing improvements. It’s clear to see how much they care about providing a good service and good customer experience to their guests. It’s an amazing location with gorgeous views over north bay. I would definitely stay here again

Great staff can not fault them but the budget rooms just too small . Window did not open so i cud not get any air in . Ok only there 4 nights but no clean towel , bins stayed full . Breakfast was lovely no problems there and a nice little bar with a sea view, just those budget rooms no good .
