GOOD experiences

Room very clean, but the parking for customers has little bit confused. No sign on floor which parking lots is for customers, so I drove in front of Hotel, The parking in front of hotel is free of charge between 6:00pm to 8:00am, but we need drive away at next day morning to Hotel parking lots if you are not go out early, but the hotel parking was full on my day. Just little inconvenience for me about this.

The breakfast is not valued for money. Better eat in other restaurants.

Overall good

This was supposed to be a perfect birthday weekend for my partner. Arrived on Friday at about 8pm to a room that was covered in marks on the wall (see photos) and the room that felt like 30°, the air con wasn't on and I couldn't turn it on from the control on the wall. I spoke with the front desk and they offered to switch us rooms and gave me a key but after checking the second room there was a drainage issue and the room smelt so bad. I was given a fan for the heat in the room. When asked today how the stay was, I said disappointing and all I got was OK sorry to hear that. I will never return to this hotel. The only good point about this hotel is that the breakfast is decent.

The staff were amazing. Provided guidance and felt safe. Room was comfortable and clean.

Propert located right on the beach and short distance to cruise port. Wish i had stayed an extra day to explore the castle on the hill. People were very friendly and they had live music on the patio after dinner.

Positives: Clean room, clean bathroom, beautiful shower, friendly staff, Churchill's was a nice pub - excellent fish and chips, gorgeous location right on the water, great view of Dover Castle and the white cliffs, short walk to market square with many shops and restaurants, short walk to #81 bus to Dover Castle. Negative: Very uncomfortable bed that needs to be replaced. I was in room 214. Slow lift but just have patience. It eventually gets you to your floor. If I'm ever back in Dover, I'd stay here again.

Hyggelig personale og flott lokalisering ved stranden. Rommet var lite og trenger litt vedlikehold, men sengen er god og fint med balkong.

Mindestens 1x am Tag gab es Feueralarm, mehrfach ging abends das Licht im Zimmer aus, immer wieder telefonisch darum gebeten das Problem zu beheben. Einige Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption konnte man schecht verstehen, haben sich auch keine Mühe gegeben deutlicher zu sprechen. Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen, lieber ein Premier inn oder Holiday inn.

Gary and the staff provided great service and made our stay memorable.

Nice harbor view, parking limited in hotel lot and had to pay fee for hotel parking.

This should not be rated a 4 star ... 3 at the best.

Beautiful location. Conveniently located next to cruise port, groceries and dining. Clean rooms and pleasent staff. The only negative is the one small elevator that only fits two people and two suitcases at a time.

Showing some age, especially carpets. Only a single small lift, not enough for 81 rooms. Great staff, bar, food, and close to port and shopping

Beach view i had for 4 days was fantastic.

The location is great. Right on the water. Close to everything to see in Dover. Very clean, friendly staff. A/C was great. Amenities in the room were new looking. The only negatives were, small bathroom, elevator was slow which would normally not be a problem but we were there on a weekend when the cruise ships were swapping passengers.

Not bad, but probably will be better after a few years when they renovate all the floors and rooms. It looks nice at the lobby but everything including the elevator, hallways, and rooms are dated and worn. They try with nice linens and furniture but definitely need an upgrade. Room for improvement with bathroom ventilation, better carpets, faster and bigger elevator, and better pumps for soap in the bathroom. The outside is gorgeous and the breakfast was not bad. Close to cruise port you can book a taxi at the front desk for 10 pounds to get to cruise terminal. Overall not wow and may not be the best for the price.
