Staff are sincere, providing excellent services. Breakfast is excellent and rich. There is a gym with sufficient equipment and it's free.

Very cosy and homely. Clean and very spacious. Pool, hot tub and sauna were clean. Food was amazing and fresh. Close to 2 town centres. Staff were very helpful and went out of there way Pet friendly hotel. Staff went out there way for my dog buster. Offered him sausages and treats. Buster was made up. Defiantly will be back x Only 2 little mini things was couldn't work out the shower and no instructions about how to work the hot tub. Only that there was someone in the pool telling us how to work the cover and turning it on. Myself and my partner had a great stay and we will be back x

Lovely room, good amenities. Loved the bath

Clean and spacious room with a great bath and shower. The food was amazing and the breakfast was delightful. But the best feature has to be the helpful and really friendly staff, they were fabulous!

3 night stay with two dogs , staff were very friendly and helpful , food was great on the whole a great stay and would recommend to others.

Lovely hotel with stunning views. The big plus is the food - breakfast was excellent and dinner both nights was really enjoyable. It’s in a great location to explore the northern part of the Lakes. Some parts of the hotel could do with a bit of TLC. Staff are really good, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location with lovely views. Excellent breakfast and evening meals, good quality and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Relaxing spa- warm pool. A really lovely place to stay.

Food not to expectations, long wait for breakfast

Good food but certain things were not available on our last night. Pool was only available for limited time because other users, maybe get a costume spinner to help residents dry items easier.

It was a comfortable stay with great hospitality. The room could have been cleaner - crumbs, dust and someone’s shoe under the sofas. Cobwebs on walls and ceilings. The bathrooms smelled a little mildewy/damp, probably due to lack of windows, so would benefit from some air fresheners.

We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented. Prices were average for the places we stayed this year. There was a good menu choice including specials. Before dinner we sat out in the terrace deck enjoying the beautiful views and peace. It was also entertaining to watch the car park comings and goings of children arriving for swimming lessons. This does mean parking could be difficult if guests arrive at the same time lessons are happening. Breakfast was delicious, ordering your hot meal choice the day before. Cereal and toast were also available. We slept well, although the bed was firmer than I am used to. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

Quirky hotel with small pool and good gym. Rooms quiet and lovely large corner bath

The staff, food, room and area were all very nice but the spa area was, in our opinion well below par and in need of a deep clean

Hotel was very comfortable, staff friendly, however rather off putting eating in the restaurant stench of BO from a member of staff. other than that, very pleasant stay

Lovely little night away. Nice and quiet. Lady on reception was lovely on arrival. Food was beautiful. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Lovely views. What more could you ask for. Will definitely be back.

Hotel is in a beautiful area and location. It has a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use as we were spending time with family living locally. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious and really nice but needs a little TLC in the bathroom with a jacuzzi and the curtain hooks need attention. All things that can be easily addressed. We had dinner on one evening and it was delicious and well presented. Breakfast was okay but do not like having to order the night before and no table to help yourself to juice toast etc. On having said this I would still stay there again.
