Host very helpful, room spotless with an unexpected surprise of a lovely view and private patio area..very handy if you vape or smoke. Guest kitchen area/breakfast room fully stocked with with various breakfast items ranging from eggs to bread, fresh pots of fruit, cerial, pastries and even fresh coffee if thats what you desire. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Clean and comfortable with friendly and welcoming host.

Arrived at the address which I enclosed with safety gates, rang the bell and drove into the court yard parking my van in the same place as last year The host created us and didn’t comment on my van parking (I thought it was a wide accessible space but apparently not) Friday night great sleep as the place is really nice Saturday morning we decided to just lay in bed napping, got woken up rudely to loud thudding on our door demanding we open the door, was opened a Scottish male stood shouting they have been trying to get our attention knocking our door all morning, the male then accused of talking when he knocked earlier in the morning and continued demanding I move my van to one parking space as the place was fully booked that evening Saturday evening 6.30 there was my van and the owners Tesla in the car park. Sunday morning 9.30 there was 1 extra car in the courtyard Both myself and my fiancé looked at each other assuming there was a fire on the site the way he hammered our door, we booked here again as it was so peaceful last year The barns are quite remote and very peaceful, Should you need supplies there are a few supermarket that deliver via app and a good selection of takeaways

What a brilliant place to stay! Iain was a fantastic host, very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect-modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable and space for everything. The breakfast offer in the kitchen was brilliant! Such a great choice. And all at a grest price, I'd highly recommended this place and will definitely stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you!

We had a spacious very clean modern room within a barn conversion where the breakfast was self service. There was a large selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and juices on offer

Highly recommended. Everything was spotless. The bed very comfortable and the shower very efficient. The breakfast offer was superb. I would definitely stay here again. And the price was outstanding.

This barn conversion was spotlessly clean. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of food and drink.

Well from the moment we got there we was very happy. We got welcomed and showed to our room. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and tidy. There was a very large shower room and big balcony with everything needed. Our view was of a very big field. We received a basket with towels , hair dryer , toilet roll and some papers with information of take aways , local pub where the coop was , phone number directions everything. There was a kettle , glasses , cups , bottles water , tea coffee biscuits everything. The breakfast was delicious, the service was amazing. We will definitely be back. So calm and reaxing

The room had everything we needed with the bonus of a patio area overlooking a field so was not over looked. Enjoyed the sun and peace and quiet. Also enjoyed the breakfast and use of the kitchen facilities.

Excellent accommodation and welcome. The room was comfortable and spotless, the self service breakfast was very varied and relaxed. We will be back!

Absolutely smashing find, generous breakfast selection. Luxurious bedding & fluffy towels. Garden furniture is great too.

Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, warm and cozy. Breakfast options are great, loads of choice of teas, pastries, porridge etc. Private parking and host is lovely and helpful too. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stop over The barn is nice and our room was spacious and clean (we were given the easy accessable room). The wet room was a bonus so enjoyed the shower and space. The small patio are would be great in the summer to enjoy the beautiful views of the fields. You will share the entrance and hallway with other guests. Kitchen has what you need facilities-wise and was stocked with all needed for a basic breakfast with eggs bread and crumpets as well as croissants. Local pub was really nice. Locals were friendly and the food was well served. Not much else in the area but is a stones throw from some nice places to visit. Overall the price, host was very friendly and contact was super easy and really served it's purpose for our stopover.

Our stay was excellent. This is more than just a B&B.The greeting by Ian is very friendly & welcoming. The room was pleasently decorated & very clean & comfy. A great choice at breakfast which is self service & the kitchen offers personal use for guest. There is Secure parking in the forecourt. Our second stay & hope ti come again .

2nd time we have used the Fir Tree for a quiet weekend away in Yorkshire. Lovely setting accommodation has great facilities. we will definitely go again next time we are doing anything near that part of the country

Only stayed for one night but room was very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and the choice given for breakfast was superb. Thank you very much and look forward to stopping again in the very near future.
