Dirty place and smell of smoking is everywhere The door of th ebathroom was not closing

Standard and clean

The room was a twin bedded room. The size of the room was only barely enough to accommodate the two beds. The walls had plaster missing, the walls were stained and extensively dirty. the bed side table had two draws, the bottom draw had no base so could see through to the dirty carpet. The wardrobe should be replaced. It leans to the side and wobbles as you open the damaged doors. It too had a panel missing from the back. The showers and toilets were grubby and antiquated, both were in need of immediate refurbishment, as indeed so does the whole hotel side of the premisses. The booking came with breakfast, served at 07:45. At that time there were no members of staff on the entire premisses, hence breakfast was not available. To summarise, the hotel side of this business needs a total refurbishment. I would dissuade anyone booking a room there. It is not as described on the Hotels website.

Very helpful staff that made check in a pleasure...for once. Although the accommodation was basic it was fit for purpose & clean. An excellent cooked breakfast was included which was duly gobbled up before departing. Would certainly stay here again.

If you just need to get your head down for the night then it will do. Definitely needs a lick of paint and a good clean up.

Do not stay unless you are desperate. It wasn’t even that reasonable. The rooms are dirty No heat no laundry as advertised no hair dryer as advertised. No breakfast because of some leak in the kitchen Place is old and dilapidated. Rooms are musty. It’s a shared bathroom with everyone who stays at the facility. Just don’t waste your money and time. It’s a 15 minute walk to get the train

For budget London accommodation I was impressed with the Forest Gate Hotel. Pros: quiet location, easy walking distance to the tube (Olympic park 2stops away), affordable (for London prices), clean sheets, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee in room. Fire doors and a solid door lock. Shared toilet and showers but they are clean enough, a decent size and will good locks on the door. Staff are friendly and breakfast was simple but a bonus the next day, and was cooked fresh. Cons: it's an old building and it isn't freshly painted and high spec. If you're looking for luxury, you'll have to pay the cost. But it doesn't detract from this being a solid option for somewhere to sleep well for a couple of nights. I'd recommend it here and I'd stay again.

The condition of the room and facilities was negative compared with the price (£54)

It was even worse I'dd expected. The room was dirty, the shower and toilets are very old and dirty and not in the room. You have to share the shower facility with others. After short use of the shower, there was not hot water left for the next person to shower. It was horrible. Instead of a 3 night stay, we booked another hotel for the last night. We asked for refund but didn't get it. We payed way to much money for this hotel.

Customer Services arrived no personal touch and care for client .Morning breakfast was average. Try and install light in the bathroom and toilets were you can find the switch.

The room was dirty had hair everywhere and mild around the windows and the place stinks. The toilet door hardly shuts. The shower is straight up disgusting. Had people arguing at 3am keeping me up. Staff was alright though

No sign of any human being

Maybe did not read/check info that well, but espresso machine does not work in the bar, shared showers with questionable lighting and hot water. Very noisy rusty old fridge in room.

Staff were lovely but the room was not particularly clean. The carpet was pulled up and sticky in some spots. People were arguing loudly within the hotel early in the morning and I was verbally harassed by someone in another room as I was leaving and felt unsafe walking back to the station. Breakfast was very nice though and the check out process was easy.

Not a nice place to stay. Room was freezing and dirty. Beds uncomfortable. The pub downstairs is shadey and noisy. Don’t stay here.
