Clean room staff so friendly 😊 definitely I'm gonna come back

Was no heating

Was on reception was very polite and had no problem with my early check in. The room was spacious and clean. The corridor was smelly - someone was or had been smoking in their room. The breakfast room was adequate with a good range of cereals, toast and coffee. There was a boiler - but no teabags for tea. Overall a good nights stay at a great price.

Very clean studio room, cheap rates and pleasant staff. Will be a reuglar customer

Firstly it’s worth noting the 1 night stay cost £31.50 so I don’t expect a 5 star hotel. Check-in was quick and easy and the room was warm & clean. The bed was comfy although I always take my own pillow which helps. To be honest the room is tired and in need of some maintenance; door lock difficult to operate, windows don’t close properly allowing traffic and wind noise in, desk fan with no front guard, shower rail broken, badly stained shower curtain. On the up side there is a kettle with tea & coffee, fridge, and TV. I can’t comment on the breakfast because I left at 05:00. I wouldn’t take the duchess (wife) but, at that price, I’d definitely stay again.

The breakfast was horrible, just a cornflakes. Dirty surface and cutlerys. Bad smell everywhere. Mouldy bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room size was good.

Bathroom was shabby and no hot water could be found in the sink but the room was clean and mattress comfortable. The blind in the room was broken so more light came in than was kept out but didnt bother me much. Staff was friendly and accomodating however the place stunk of weed but it isnt 5 star so downsides expeted

The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus.

Room was a little tired and could go with some simple DIY. Clean and spacious. Good value for money.

Room spacious, bathroom would need sn update but was clean, breakfast rather poor with toast, cereals and juice but ok - no complaints and ok for a short stay

Property was not where or what I expected

Very tired room. Stains on the carpet and chips out of the paintwork. Broken blind. Room smelled musty. No lid on toilet. We didn't use the shower but the shower curtain didn't look as clean as it should be. The room needed a proper deep clean. Very basic hospitality tray. Towels were so small they wouldn't leave anything to the imagination! We knew that at the room price for the area we weren't going to get a luxury experience, but it fell pretty short of what I'd really expect.

Could have more better breakfast very low standard food no cooked breakfast just toast and cereal I would rate whole experience 5/10

Staff were very friendly, it’s in need of renovation but I’m not going to complain too much given the excellent price. For a night or two, as just a place to sleep, I would 100% recommend.

Not sure how this hotel has 8 stars. Very unclean. The sheets were dirty, other than being desperate to get the kids to bed we would have found another hotel. My husband slept on a towel with another over him as the bedding was dirty. The bathroom had grime along the edges and the whole place just felt so grim. I imagine its perfect for a stag do or something where the guest are too drunk to notice. The breakfast was some bread and a toaster with cornflakes left for you to help yourself. Not sure how that can be policed for cleanliness. Safe to say we didnt eat it.
