This was a lovely property to stay in, ideal walking distance for getting in to the town. Great hosts & a lovely breakfast. Whilst the hotel looks slightly dated, it was still a lovely, confortable stay

A very nice stay , last minute booking, very warmly greeted on arrival, asked what I wanted for breakfast and what time. Nice comfortable room with adaquate en-suite facilities with plenty of water provided in the room. In the morning, I was again greeted in a warm manner and had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I’ve paid double price and not had this quality. The owners really couldn’t do enough for me.

Charmante "house" (maybe Heaven au lieu de Haven) tenu par des hôtes délicats et charmants. L'accueil a été très bon et ils nous ont proposé spontanément une place de parking. Les chambres sont petites mais très confortable et cocooning. La salle de bain est en longueur, mais elle fait le job, extrêmement propre. Pour le petit déjeuner, il était copieux, chaud, frais et encore une fois, nos hôtes ont été au petit soin. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'échanger avec eux avec plus que des bavardages.

We loved our brief stay here. The staff were very friendly & the rooms were comfortable & clean. Very nice breakfast served with plenty of choice too. 5-10 walk to the sea, cannot fault a thing. If we visit Torquay again we’ll stay here.

Very warm and friendly

Had a 5 night stay at Haven House Torquay and after a long 5 hour drive I was warmly welcomed by Mel and shown to my room. The room was clean and well furnished, and I had everything I needed for my stay. Parking was free on the street. The B&B is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute walk from the promenade. With just 6 rooms it is a small B&B with rooms downstairs and upstairs, just one flight of stairs. There is an excellent variety of breakfast options each morning with Mel front of house and Alistair cooking. The fried breakfast was utterly delicious every morning with quality produce and cooked to perfection. Plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit to choose from as well. My room was refreshed every day and a really nice touch was the two Celebrations every time I returned to my room. It was a wonderful stay with the perfect hosts and a lovely B&B. Highly recommend Haven House.

We stayed here here for one night and I would recommend. The people were very friendly and had lots of info on the local area. The room was basic and the shower needs updating but everything was pretty clean and the bed comfortable.

Nice area and very friendly staff. Our room was nice and tidy and had a tv however the toilet had a lingering smell of urine and the shower was really small.

Everything was perfect. Great location and free on street parking. Breakfast was superb. Al and Mel were brilliant hosts. Highly recommended!

Really lovely clean room and great hospitality throughout, great choice of selection for breakfasts and condiments in your room. Would definitely come back and stay again. Only problem we had was as we found the pillows to thin, this is just a minor preference.

Opmærksomme og venlige værter. Fantastisk morgenmad. God beliggenhed i et stille og roligt kvartal. Gode parkeringsforhold.

It was absolutely beautiful experience. Alistair and Mel did everything to make our short stay as comfortable as it was possible. Our room had everything you need such as: hot shower, comfortable bed, tea/coffee/fresh water, TV e.t.c. The breakfast was 10 of 10! The location of the hotel is super! It is very close to the center but at the same time quite and easy to find a parking place for your car. The guys were very helpful with the information. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends and anyone! Thank you very much! xx

Was a lovely property, really enjoyed our stay.

Friendly welcome and helpful advice about local attractions and eating places. Nice clean room; bed a bit soft for our taste, but plenty of hot water, and bottled water provided in the room besides tea and coffee. Very good location, quiet road with free parking, within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre. Superb breakfast! Great value.

The hosts are most friendly & welcoming. The rooms are clean , beds are comfortable & little extras provided, teas & coffees & toiletries. They prepare a wonderful breakfast which caters for all requirements. I highly recommend a stay at The Haven
