Holiday Inn Express BIRMINGHAM NEC, an IHG Hotel

Absolutely fine. Bit noisy at night from other rooms, but that can't be helped other than thicker walls. Breakfast was included and surprisingly good.

Good dog friendly choice. Room large enough to accommodate us and the dog. Nice to be able to sit in the bar area and have dinner and breakfast with the dog without any fuss. Would use again when in the area.

Have to wait 15 mins to get the staff attention to check in. Beds was dirty, duty manager was very rude.

Expected shower to be power shower but disappointed that Holiday Inn still doesn’t have this in place in the 21st century

Conveniently located, adequate accommodation, efficient check in and check out, nice and comfortable surroundings and good facilities. The only negative I’ve got is that the bacon in my cheeseburger was very undercooked.

The staffs were very welcoming and fast internet service.

Overall our stay at the hotel was satisfactory . The room was on the small side and despite wanting twin beds we were only able to separate the beds by a few inches because of the headboard/bedside table fixture. The room was clean , bed and pillows comfortable. We had supper in the restaurant which unfortunately was not satisfactory- took a long time to arrive and when it did chips were lukewarm and the vegetables inedible . Breakfast on the other hand was very good with plenty of helpful staff .

I’ve stayed here twice, and it was excellent both times. Clean rooms & comfortable bed. Breakfast is first rate. Cute pub next door. Note: parking costs extra per day. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel. Nice breakfast area.

Genuinely surprised at how nice this hotel was. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea making facilities and Dove products in the bathroom. The excellent air conditioning was very much appreciated during the heatwave.

Clean,quiet, close enough to airport

Great experience at check-in, with a quick and friendly welcome and good advice on places to eat. The family in front of us had very boisterous kids that the reception team were very tolerant of and kept the parents reassured. Help with parking machine was good and check out was quick and easy too. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet service and the options were complete with cooked and continental options. Toaster worked! It was also very reasonably priced
