Hosts were welcoming.

What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

The owners could not have been more friendly and I think their breakfasts would be wonderful but I just don't eat enough to make a full English an option for me. I was a bit daunted when I saw the steep steps up to the front of the hotel but there is an alternative route via the car park at the rear with just a few steps to negotiate.

Excellent hosts very accommodating and friendly

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about The Hotel Peppers. The location was ideal , clean and comfortable. Good breakfasts, plenty of choice , and the host very accommodating . If we were to go to Torquay again, I would definitely book there .

Hoped to have a large balcony with seating but had a skylight conversion which was a little disspointing. No big problem though

This hotel is not to be missed, the hosts couldnt help enough, they were so kind and caring. Room was clean and very comfortable with every necessities thought of. Amazing hot breakfast with a few options available. Highly recommend staying in this hotel and will definately go back to stay. Very friendly couple.

Chose this Hotel as a base for visiting an old friend. The hotel is spotless and the service goes above and beyond. The parking at the rear is tight but there is additional free parking nearby. The breakfast choice was extensive and delicious. The hotel is convenient for seeing Torquay, being within an easy walk of the town centre and harbour. Certainly a place we will return to and can recommend unreservedly.

Very warm welcome and super accommodating. Book with breakfast, I am gluten free and they were so accommodating. The bar may be small but carries all that you want and need. We went to Joeys steakhouse less than a block away easy walk and it to was so nice. If looking to stay on in the area for a couple days or one night two thumbs up

What a lovely hotel, ran by a lovely couple who couldn’t do enough for us, the hotel was spotlessly clean, beds and linen where of a high quality, we opted for breakfast which was beautiful, everything cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend The Peppers Hotel, we will definitely be going back on our next visit to Torquay

Welcoming, excellent hosts with delicious fresh breakfasts; great location close to everything yet very quiet! Wake up refreshed and enjoy the view of the beautiful bay if you stay in the upstairs bedroom. Highly recommended as a place to enjoy all that Torquay has to offer!!
