酒店温馨，老板和老板娘待人接物很和蔼，及时帮助我们更换房间。因早到就先去游玩后回酒店，行李都已在房间。早餐传统丰富，值得再次入住。

Recommended if u want a spacious room under a reasonable pricing but dun know why hotel.com mentioned that it has air condition. Lucky that u dun need it in Summer holiday.

Overally speaking it is a wonderful B&B, with good facilities, beautiful garden and warm service from the owner. Especially the breakfast was nice and well presented. I love it and would be willing to live there again. But please be noted that the location information in the introduction page is WRONG, either is the map. It is NOT close to Windermere railway station, if by walk you will need walk by 25-30 minutes to get there. To be accurate, it is in Bowness NOT Windermere.

The location is convenient and easy to locate. The house owners are helpful and respond quickly to inquiry made before visit. The breakfast is really tasteful. Price is reasonable as well.

The room was fantastic and communication was spot on!

We stayed for 2 nights mid-week, and had a lovely time. Latimer House was easy to find, with parking available on site and well located, communication ahead before arrival was helpful and responed quickly to a question I had. The room was bigger than expected, modern, clean and quiet, check in was simple with clear instructions for the digital locks. We will be returning in the future.

Lovely stay and i would highly recommend it. Clean, quiet, and nice pillows. The only problem we had was when I booked I booked with parking knowing we would have a car. There is only 4 parking spaces so if you come in after 5 or maybe earlier you will be parking on the side streets (no parking in front) which wasn't the best for us as we are seniors and carrying luggage up and down hill can be challenging.

A lovely Easter weekend stay at Latimer House We had a fantastic stay at Latimer House in Bowness. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the town centre, which made it easy to explore the area without needing the car. Our room was clean, comfortable, and felt like a real home away from home. We visited over the Easter weekend and were delighted to find Easter-themed truffles waiting for us on arrival—a thoughtful and charming touch that made the stay feel extra special. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cosy base in Bowness with great access to everything the Lakes has to offer.

The room was great. Comfy bed and clean throughout. I was disappointed with the parking situation. I was under the impression there’d be parking, and there is, but it’s very limited. Only 4 spaces and they have 7 rooms.

The room was very clean and spacious. We stayed for two nights — it was quite cold the first night, but the staff were very responsive. After we let them know, they brought us an additional heater the next day. Great service!

This is our 3rd stay at Latimer House, and it’s perfect for us. The location is good and the rooms are big enough. The only problem we encountered this stay was the radiator wouldn’t heat up fully so of a morning the room was very cold, the radiator probably just needs bleeding but in 3 years we have stayed here that’s the first problem we’ve ever had. The bed as always was very comfy and the tv allows you to log into your Netflix and Amazon prime account which is nice. There is no check in procedure here which we love, you get sent your room number and entrance codes an hour or so before check in time and you just let yourself in there’s no waiting in queues to go through check in. We will 100% be back again.

Great modern room, lovely and warm especially in the freezing temperatures of November! Such a great find in the heart of Windermere. There was no noise throughout our stay and free parking is a bonus.

Quick overnight stay. Handy code access for quick and effortless check in which we like. Room nice. Terrible car parking. Very limited space so struggled and was last thing we wanted after long driving. Otherwise would be perfect.

Not staffed, you receive a code for entry on day of arrival, all worked great. The room was clean, decorated nicely, had a huge bathroom with large shower and free toiletries. Internet was fast and reliable. It was very quiet. The heart chocolates on the pillows (it was Valentines the day after our stay) were a cute touch.

Excellent stay

Positives: Room was clean and tidy and very spacious. Well located in Bowness, only a short walk to bars/restaurants and the lake. Plenty of free parking in the overflow carpark too. Check in was easy, no issues with codes getting in etc. Negatives: Mattress was quite uncomfortable, could feel a lot of springs when moving around, although bedding was cosy enough. Room was not sound proof, so heard every noise from other guests, which unfortunately were very noisy in the middle of the night - we were located on the ground floor so may have been different upstairs with no one above us banging about and shouting. Bathroom was clean, but very cold and a bit tired. Overall our stay was okay. The guesthouse was considerably cheaper than other b&bs, so probably provides a good base for an evening, but wouldn’t be inclined to stop for multiple nights again.
