Breakfast was amazing , staff execellant,room very clean , bed comfortable

We stayed here while taking my son to start university, and it honestly made a big difference to what was quite an emotional trip. Katie was so friendly and thoughtful, keeping in touch during our long 8-hour drive and making our late arrival stress-free. She even suggested places still serving food, which really helped after a tiring day. Breakfast was lovely, served by such cheerful staff, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. The location was ideal, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. It felt like we were looked after the whole time, the perfect start to a new chapter for our family.

Very welcoming, very homely, it’s been a lovely stay. All the staff are so friendly and went above and beyond during our stay. Breakfast was really good, and again, the staff were lovely.

Well situated near Falmouth Town railway station and the beaches. Large and comfortable room with heater provided for colder days. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff providing excellent service.

Such a friendly hotel, situated in really convenient location. The staff were exemplary, nothing was too much trouble, plus a lovely clean room.

Our stay at the Lugo Rock was perfect in every way. Katie and team were so friendly, making us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable, ideal for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was also excellent. Overall a brilliant stay. We’ll definitely come back.

Super breakfasts

Katie and co were lovely and very friendly. We were treated like they knew us and always greeted with a cheerful hello and smile! A very short walk to the beach in a slightly longer but lovely walk into town. The room was spacious and very clean! Will be visiting again!

What an excellent stay we had for 5 nights in August 2025. Katie is a marvellous host and Lugo Rock is a beautiful seaside place to stay with a quick walk to both the beach and the town centre. We loved it! Our family room was fantastic with two separate spaces with an interconnecting door. Breakfast was delicious and full English or any combination of was preordered each night. The dining room was welcoming and Trish, another lovely member of staff, was cheerful serving breakfast each day and giving advice about places to visit around and about. Would highly recommend Lugo Rock

Staff extremely friendly and went above and beyond. Had a lovely stay, the bed had to be comfortable because I slept like a log. Internet access excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. I can't thank the staff enough. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

I visited Falmouth 12th July for the first time and selected Lugo Rock from the online reviews, to stay. There is room to park your car on site, 3 minutes walk from the beach (with a bar, restaurant and shops). About 8 minutes walk into the heart of Falmouth and the river/marina/museum/boat trips/shops and bar-restaurants. The first thing at Lugo Rock was the welcome by Katie, who was very friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable having arrived after a long journey. The room had everything you needed and a comfotable bed and sitting area. Some may not like the pre breakfast form, but I found it easy and very appropriate. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices like cereals and fruit before your cooked meal. The staff could mit help enough in making you feel you have had a good start to the day. I found this to be a worthwhile place to book when visiting Falmouth centre, especially the owners. Paul C

Very friendly welcome from Katie. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was excellent and the biscuits in there were divine. Trish was lovely at breakfast time. Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes stroll to the centre of Falmouth. Would definitely recommend and, if I am in the area again, would definitely stay. Tha
