The room is rather small- the pictures are misleading. The check-in process was a complete disaster. When we arrived at the facility, around 3 pm, there was nobody at the facility to help us with the check-in. We rang the bell and there was no response. We were foreign tourists and we didn't have phone connection to call at a UK number. Ultimately, a friend had to do a long distance call to reach the owners and help us get into the hotel. The sink overflowed during our two day stay. Although we mentioned this to the owners, it was not fixed during our stay. The sink is also tiny and the bathroom is as big as an airplane bathroom. I could not take a shower and wash my hair by bending my head down as there was no space to do that in the shower area.

The fridge was too small for a stay with children. A large bottle of water wouldn't fit and it didn't cool very well, almost not at all.

Pet friendly, great location. It is a guest house rather than hotel but has everything you need. The bed, bedding & linen were good quality, decor etc a bit tired but no complaints

Good location. Clean and functional. Bathroom was a little small, but shower was hot. Parking is on the street outside and you do need to be a little lucky in securing a spot near the guesthouse.

We stayed the Lyndhurst for 6 nights. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Our room was small, but well maintained, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is on the street, but we usually were able to find a spot close by. We recommend this little gem.

Well presented rooms, clean and tidy , managed to get parked outside ,very quiet,close to town centre ,and dog friendly

Just what was needed after a wet day on the fells. A good welcome and a great breakfast.

Warm and cosy room. Not a lot of room in the shower room/toilet but it was adequate. Lovely cooked breakfast following juice & cereals. Great location for strolling into town. Parking was a nightmare but Keswick was very busy for New Year celebrations.

Great place. Good breakfast. Lovely couple who own it, very accommodating to their guests. Will definatly return.

Quiet location but near centre and nearby open spaces/parks

Friendly owners and great breakfast. But street parking is a nightmare, and with climbing Scarfell (and our gear) twin room at the top was far too small for us and not much room to move at all. Local area can be abit noisy. Shower is just a trickle of water.

Central to keswick, clean tidy, well presented. very good breakfast no hassles, land lady very pleasant. certainly stay again.

We stayed three nights at Lyndhurst and were made very welcome by the owner, Barbara. The room was clean and cosy, with everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent and Barbara even went out and got Earl Grey tea for our second day. We would definitely stay there again.
