MAIDENHEAD/WINDSOR by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The hotel itself was nice and the members of staff there are friendly and efficient. I was particularly impressed by their swimming pool, gym, and Jacuzzi. Also, their wifi speed was excellent. They provided a reasonable range of selection of breakfast, like an English breakfast, yoghurt, tea and coffee. It worths the price you have pay for. The hotel is a little bit far from the city centre, and most people drive to this hotel. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to the city centre. And if you drive, please be aware that the traffic will be not very good during rush hour.

The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy.

HI WHEN YOU ARIVE IT LOOKS AWFUL.. WE THOUGHT WHAT HAVE WE DONE . SOMEONE WAS CLEANING THE PATHS WITH JET WASH OUTSIDE IT LOOKED A MESS WE COULDNT GET IN THE ENTRANCE. ONCE IN ROUND THE CORNER REALLY LOVELY AND MODERN INSIDE. LOVELY STAFF VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS WOULD DEF STAY AGAIN.

Restaurant including breakfast and evening food was very poor, tasteless and or undercooked. Some staff good, but many poor. Gym, swimming pool etc is nice. Rooms ok.

Lovely staff good hotel but caught Covid.

It was OK. But my 90-old mother was locked out of her “accessible” room twice by the dumb (“smart”) key system. And we had to waste a huge amount of water waiting for hot water to arrive in the shower. Restaurant food exceeded our low expectations.

Clean room, speedy exit

Have stayed many times. Accommodation is fine, very clean. The bed was a bit tired, quite hard not as comfortable as we would like, but maybe that just a personal observation. We ate in once, sadly we would not eat in again as the food was expensive and below average. The breakfast was also not as good as it should be. It would be nice to get choice of vegetarian sausage at least. Overall we would choose to stay again because we are familiar with the hotel, its clean and the service is excellent. However, always room for improvement

Nice hotel and well placed

Really clean and although the exterior looks dated, it was very light and modern inside. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and not very busy. Staff were refilling the food all the time.

Friendly and welcoming. Clean and fresh suite. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good room temperature. No outside/inside noise heard. Great choice of breakfast.

Really good area to visit london

Good problem free stay. Nice hotel. Nice food. Stayed there before and will stay there again.

Great exec. room , great facilities , great gym and pool , good food

What a fabulous weekend stay. Everything we needed was there. Comfy bed, nice bathrooom, large tv, tea/coffee, fresh towels. Can't moan at anything in the room. Staff were friendly from the check in to check out. Breakfast was super and always well stocked. Evening meal was not as good, slightly higher prices than a pub etc. fish was wet and a little Tasteless and the lasagne was very pleasant but small portion with a tiny portion of rocket and two basic pieces of garlic bread. But hey... it was ok. We made use of the spa & pool on two occasions which is why we booked this hotel. All in all... would certainly come again and thoroughly recommend it!

Good value for money. Good facilities. A bit dated but kept very clean - can’t ask for better hotel for what you pay.

Great stay with our two kids, room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of on site parking, the kids enjoyed the pool and free dining. Excellent location for Lapland UK.

Good pool, good service, breakfast ok, very friendly staff. Room temperature cold even with warm air con. Refurbishments looking good especially the new bar area.
