Grimy room long past its best. Summer-weight duvet at the end of November and poor heating meant the room was quite cold. Bed was saggy and worn out. Scabs of bare plaster on the wall. Bathroom radiator not working.
But it was very very cheap.

The location is quite far out of town centre. Car is required for transport (although public transport is available). Outside parking is provided. Next to Shell petrol station, which is a plus. Also next to Starbucks and Spar.
On the downside, the venue is in need of refurbushment. The amenities are very basic although there was a microwave oven in my room in addition to a kettle and tea / coffee facilities. Towels are provided but no toiletries.
Rooms need a deep clean. I believe there were bedbugs in my room. I had 8 bites on my body.

Window would not close (broken) so traffic noise. Heating switched off. Broken chair. Beds poorly made up. Duvet too thin for late October. Difficult to get shower to correct temperature. Noisy water pipes at 5am. Bulk laundry bags stacked at front door. Bathroom Lino cracking. Whole place looked tired.

The room was dirty, there were springs poking through the mattress, the shower was cold and dirty as well. Furniture was in a sorry state and the carpets were unclean as well.

It's a tired ex Travelodge. a) it looks like a Travelodge b) the parking signs still refer to Travelodge.
The beds are comfy enough, the shower works just fine, the place is clean enough, but don't expect high standards. Woodwork is flaking in places. Staff were friendly and helpful though. For the price for a one night stay - perfectly acceptable.
