Simon was a very polite host but we had a few issues with our stay. The apartment is near a nightclub and on one night had to pass our way through the crowd to enter. It wasn't just the noise from the nightclub but also pigeons in /behind the bedroom wall which made it very hard to sleep. We told Simon who kindly offered us another room but at that point we'd decided to leave early. Whilst the place was clean and tidy it had poor shower pressure, limited storage and a faulty TV. Maybe we were just unlucky with our apartment allocation.

Property location and amenities is great. Free parking at their courtyard was also a bonus.

The apartment was great, close to shops, and food. However when l went out for coffee early in the morning the neighbourhood was very dirty and seemed a little sketchy.

The front door did not lock it was off the latch overnight. There is a nightclub around the corner. The caretaker said it wasn’t his fault that someone was putting it on the latch. However it was an inappropriate design. Anyone could walk in and flimsy catches were on the sash windows. All fittings were v cheap, shower broken. I felt insecure and caretaker minimised my experience. Further WiFi kept loosing signal.

Decent basic apartment for a work trip. No complaints, nothing to write home about either.

We only stayed one night, it was very well located and the whole apartment was clean and comfortable. Extremely accommodating regarding checking in/out. We will definitely be returning.

The one bed room apartment i stayed in is very clean and tidy. The bed is very confortable; i had good night sleep in here. On the down side, i had to chase the email for checkin procedures. The phone number provided in the email confirmation is wrong. I tried to call , it goes to “the number you have called doesn’t exist “ I contacted expedia (booking agent) and they provided me with a email address of the property management. I colleague renting an other apartment at the same time as me, received his email confirmation but , in the email the wrong apartment number was given. Great centrally located apartment. Quiet area. Comfortable and excellent amenities.

Property was central to all amenities But few minor issues with property big bedroom with very small tv at other end of bedroom To in living/dinning was situated behind door which made it impossible to watch with door open

It was a pleasant stay, but the window cover in the bedroom was inadequate to block out the constant light outside. The bedroom window was not properly sealed so it was very draughty. I could smell that someone had been smoking in the bedroom. The sofas had stains on the cushions. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The towels were very clean. A soap tray in the shower would be a good idea. I used the microwave but instructions would have been helpful.

Birthday weekend for husband. We were in apartment 6 on the 2nd floor. Didn’t look like photos on website. The property signage outside for No. 18 is modern and smart, but upkeep of the building/flat is severely lacking. The apartment itself is not worth the money we paid, it is furnished very cheaply and is unfinished with holes in skirting boards, broken blinds and on the main window a missing blind, giving no privacy. In one of the bedrooms there was a large stain on the ceiling from damp/leak. There was no headboard and the bed was awkwardly placed with a foot gap at the back where pillows fell down. The bed in the other room was very old and worn. There is no low lighting, so if sitting in lounge the lights were too bright, and in kitchen with no blinds no privacy. We thought the place had been done as cheaply as possible and reminded us of student accommodation from years gone by. When the owner/manager was contacted for an alternate flat the response was that they had always had positive reviews before and if I had booked direct and not through hotels.com it would have been 20% cheaper! Only exacerbating our annoyance, not addressing complaint, request to move or refund for the 2nd night in time for us to move. Even at 20% less it would have been too much for the state of the place. There was also an intermittent alarm through the night. 2 positives - close to city centre and bedding/place was clean. My first time using hotels.com unfortunately.

Lovely apartment in a great location and with free parking outside. Very comfortable apartment with plenty of room and great amenities. Only downside, the shower was terrible no pressure so difficult to shower and the boiler made a dreadful noise every 5 minutes when on. I reported the issue but the owner didn't bother to reply so I assume it was a known issue. My wife wanted to wash her hair but it would have taken hours so poor is the water pressure in the shower. Shame because apart from this we would definitely stay again.

A great centrally located property. Got a bit anxious as couldnt contact reception. However received a text on the friday morning with instructions. We like the idea of having a kitchen and bedroom rather than being in a squashed hotal room.

Excellent central location with free parking on site. Apartments were clean and well furnished. Being central there was some noise from the nearby pubs but overall a very good set up. Communication good before our stay. Our main frustration was a change to the booking. We booked 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. A few weeks before we stayed this was changed to 1 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 1 bedroom. I don't think reservations should be accepted and £s paid only for a booking to be changed and by then it was too late to find alternative accomodation.

Property was in very good condition. There was an issue with cleanliness of the bathroom when I arrived and the Manager assured me it would be done the next morning. Overall very nice apartment, but probably not in the best part of town. However I was aware of that when I booked it.
