An excellent location and the directions provided by the host were spot on. In a beautiful peaceful location and a stones throw from the harbour front. Once inside the property we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean and the welcome book included all the details we needed, not only about the accommodation but also suggestions for restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The host was amazing, leaving us to enjoy our stay but responding straight away to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property, and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Quayside Quarters. It’s in a quiet street just off the quay in Poole. My room was clean and comfortable and the owners made sure I got in OK and allowed me to leave my bag in the building for a couple of hours after I vacated the room. I would certainly like to stay again when next I need accommodation in Poole.

A really beautiful and very pleasant stay. The location was ideal with everything we could ever need within walking distance. I really appreciated the communication before our arrival, to see if there were anything we needed and to make sure we had everything prior to check-in, we really felt well looked after throughout. The room and house was immaculately clean, peaceful, and full of warm, homely touches that made us feel instantly at ease. From the comfortable furnishings to the attention to detail throughout, everything was designed to ensure a relaxing, private and comfortable experience. Cannot fault this beautiful, homely stay or the kind and attentive host. Overall a a wonderful, welcoming stay and an exceptional host.

The location of Quayside Quarters, opposite a Church and down a quiet lane yet just two-minutes from Poole Quay .. was perfect.

We had a really lovely stay here. It was really close to loads of pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful house in an ideal location with all the comforts of home plus some. Minutes walk from the centre of the old town/quayside where you’re literally spoiled for tremendous places to eat and drink or get on a boat. The RNLI college is also only minutes away and well worth a visit. Extremely well-stocked honesty mini-bar in the room and a really helpful selection of the toiletries you forgot to bring in the bathroom. And an amazingly detailed folder of all the local information you didn’t know you needed. If/when I return to Poole this is where you’ll find me!

This is a difficult review to write, I really did not want to be negative. The property is in a fabulous spot, close to all amenities, the quay, ferries, buses, trains. No real need to use your car at all. On the Expedia website, this property is described as a 3star bed and breakfast. Reviews also mention a simple but lovely breakfast, one of the main reasons for booking. Unfortunately, they no longer do breakfast. The shower, despite following instructions failed to reach any kind of warm temperature. The mattress was in need of replacement, sagging at sides and in the middle, resulting in very poor sleep and us ending our stay a day early. There were also plumbing issues, however I believe these will be resolved very shortly and Jenny was extremely apologetic. There is a fridge with wine etc in and an honesty box, which is a nice touch but not something we used. Overall, this is a great property and great location but needs a bit of TLC.

A very clean and well decorated room, everything was as described on website, safe parking and very convenient for Poole Quay and ferry terminal.

Ideal base for exploring Poole and the surrounding area. Property is lovely in a very quiet area but just a very short walk to the quayside and lots of bars and restaurants. Jenny is very helpful and supplied a very well stocked honesty bar. Also provided lots of information based on her extensive local knowledge.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to spen some time exploring Poole. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the quayside - far enough away for it to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to feel a part of everything. The room itself is fairly small but very well organised and appointed. The owners seem to have thought of everything and the honesty bar mini fridge was a very nice touch. Jenny was extremely helpful with arrangements for our arrival and departure. One very good feature is that there is secure parking at the back of the property.

What a lovely place. The room was smart, cosy and relaxing. Bed was very comfortable. Brilliant information pwck in the room Bathroom cabinet had every toiletry you could think of and some I hadn't! Lovely traditional bath enjoyed by candlelight. Well stocked fridge in the room with wines, beers and treats with an honesty box. Our host, Jenny, couldn't have been better. She was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lovely comfortable home. Good breakfast. Convenient location close to lots of great restaurants and bars. We dont usually stay in B&B properties but it would be hard to beat this. Would definitely recommend it . All in all an excellent stay and we hope to return.
