Great hosts, good discounts on local venues. Shame we were unable to use the hot tub.

The room quality and amenities were incredible for the price. As well as the building the owners are such kind people. If you’re visiting princetown, book your stay here because you will not regret it.

Fantastic location central to lots of great walks. Hot tub was nice especially on cold rainy day. Room was lovely and clean and Nikki was super friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely one night stay. The hot tub was great and the beds were very comfy. Having a drying room was a good bonus and we appreciated being able to borrow things like plastic glasses to use in the hot tub and sliders.

Superb place to stay. Everything you could need was available in the room with lovely additional features like the fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great bath and shower. We were met by the owners and shown round the facilities, including the amazingly large spa pool! It was December for our stay but we managed 90 minutes relaximg in warm water before venturing out for food. Warm, welcoming and comfortable! Would highly recommend a stay at the Ramblers Rest!

Great place, owners went above and beyond

We got here late last night. Nikki was very helpful. Everything was as she said. The beds were comfortable and all was clean and tidy. We loved the quaintness of the place and am looking forward to a hike that overlooks the ocean.

Visiting out of season on Dartmoor it was still well set up for guests. The location itself was perfect with food and drink just next door. The guys expect muddy clothes and boots after a day on the moors, and couldnt be more helpful to offer local advice. The hot tub was fantastic, offering a great chance to chill after knocking up some miles, with a lovely fire place to warm and chat after. Thanks for a great stay

Terry and Nikki were so friendly and greeted us well. The room was clean and at good location - just next to the bus station / Fox Tor Cafe. Highly recommended.

Lovely room, very well equipped with comfortable bad, seating area, kitchen, en-suite with bath/shower - excellent facilities. Friendly and helpful hosts, allowed us to check in early and check out late! Provided fresh milk and all basic kitchen items. Clean, warm, well maintained. Nothing to fault, really! Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back.

Great stay at the railway ramblers rest. Nikki and Terry are great hosts and the place was really good for a few nights to explore Dartmoor with our dog as well. Thanks
