Nice old pub room good bathroom bit small everyone very helpful and friendly

The Inn was pleasant and the staff welcoming. The bedroom chair was so shoogly that I hesitated to sit on it. I told the staff who said it would be replaced. Very, very quiet on Sunday - nothing open.

We had a great stay , our one little gripe was that the pub closed at 8.30 on Saturday night, and was closed after 5 on Sunday night, are room was great and we will return.🙂

Arrived at 01:30 after a hard night's work to discover that the twin room I had booked, for two males, had been swapped out for a double room. One person had to sleep on the floor, and I had to give them my duvet, pillow, and cushions from the car. This, after I had phoned the day before to confirm that the rooms were twins. After much phoning, and to-ing and fro-ing I did not get to bed until 03:00. I did get the room fee refunded in full and they were very apologetic, but not pleased. Other than that, staff were nice, room was nice, comfy, and the place (Dolton) is pretty. Breakfast was adequate, well-cooked, catering standard food. Those giving "superb" reviews of this need to get out more. Having said all that, we all agreed we'd go back, so long as we all got a bed next time.

Village pub atmosphere with amazing rack of lamb dinner.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff. As it is an old building the rooms are quiet small but are presentable and although there is parking on the pub forecourt we were directed to the Village Hall 'free' car park on the opposite side of the road.

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Staff very friendly. Lovely setting in a beautiful Devon village

A lovely country inn with great food and excellent service. The rooms were comfortable withh everything you would need I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was lovely and the food excellent. Staff were so polite and accommodating. The only thing is , we stayed in one of the down stairs rooms to the left of the the property and our room smelt very damp. All the furnishings were lovely but the overwhelming smell of damp would make me rethink about staying in that particular room again. It may have been from the large open fireplace but not sure . Wasn’t going to mention it but felt it was something that needs addressing.

We stayed one night at the Rams Head. Had a superb dinner and breakfast. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend it

A very good room made for an enjoyable stay, a hearty breakfast made an excellent start to the day. The Rams Head is located in a quiet pleasant village.
