Bedroom was clean, fresh sheets. Considering this was the deluxe room, it was quite basic and needed some repairs. The blind let in lots of light and could do with being replaced with a lined curtain. Lovely view out the back. The bath and shower needed a good deep clean. We didn’t use them. The shower head had black mould on and behind the taps had reddish grime that hadn’t been cleaned away.

There were some aspects of the room which could be include for example the brass door handles to the bathroom were not clean and there were some splashes up the wall next to the bathroom. Bed nice and comfortable but the bathroom was really hot. Breakfast was ok but plates needed to be warm to keep food hotter for longer. As breakfast was £20 I would have liked to see more than one sausage or more than one slice of bacon. The menu mentioned fresh fruit but there was no fresh chopped mixed fruit on offer. However, what was provided was cooked nice and not greasy.

Come, clean. Good breakfast.

Clean Room Pleasant Helpful Staff

The room was lovely overlooking green hill side with sheep,breakfast was good freshly cooked to perfection staff were ok but didn’t go above and beyond in the coffee area it was a little dark and dinghy and lacked sound proofing there is a dinning area which is bright and quite luxurious but wasn’t allowed in that area for coffees which was disappointing

Friendly, nice room, lovely place

Friendly staff on arrival. Room lovely clean and warm, the bed was fantastic. Im quite a bad sleeper but i slept the whole night. Will definitely be back

The hotel appealed due to location and overall look of the place. Staff were very helpful and although my room was comfortable and generally clean it needed some attention to detail! It would have benefitted from a deep clean, including doors and woodwork, stain on one of the beds duvet, and some moulding around shower head and bath sealant. General wear and tear making room tired looking. Sadly my heating was not working but staff did provide a heater. As mentioned my stay was comfortable but room just needs some attention. The hotel facilities looked really nice, particularly dining area and bar but I did not use as a sole traveler for work.

Had to cancel due to personal reasons but due to lack of compassion hotel rules meant they couldn't refund.

On arrival they were trying to charge me an £10 extra. Plus said I had to pay for breakfast when I requested breakfast and free cancellations in my booking. Did not get a room with walk in shower after requesting by calling hotel a week + before checking in. Orderd food to the room and was given wrong order. And when we did get food was absolutely disgusting, Had to return however did give my husband a free beef sandwich. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a block of wood awake all night. Not to mention the noise all night from either the lift or a boiler kicking in rumbling threw the walls.

First time to the area, for a family wedding at another venue. Staff were great, friiendly with out being over bearing. Room was clean and well maintained and although we only had bar snacks and drinks on site, they were great.

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a disabled access which was great. Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient. Breakfast was fantastic good quality and freshly made.

Lovely stay, terrible coffee though

The hotel was nice, nice inside decor, nice bright and discus restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We received extra read bags and milk upon request. House keeping changed our towels after one night and gave us additional toiletries too which was good. I mentioned to reception on check out that my bed wasn’t very comfortable and had a sink in feeling possibly the springs have gone. They said maintenance would look at it today. I’d prefer breakfast to have been buffet but the food was lovely and good quality.
