This place was quite disappointing, and I am puzzled by its high rating of 8.6 out of 10. The nearest underground station, Ears Court is a 12–15-minute walk. West Kensington underground station is not the 8-minute walk that is advertised on the site. It is even farther, taking more than 20 minutes to reach.
This hotel was very crowded, and the staff struggles to manage the volume. Despite their best efforts, we felt bad for them as they tried hard to keep everyone happy. We arrived around 2 pm, but our room wasn't ready, and we had to wait over an hour.
The room itself wasn't very clean; while the surface appeared okay, closer inspection revealed spots on the floors and a bathroom that needed thorough cleaning. The sofa bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Although the concept of having a mini kitchen and a bedroom is good, that was the only positive aspect. The shampoo dispenser was empty, and after three calls and a 30-minute wait, we finally received some, only to find the dispenser wouldn't open.
You hear the other guests walking in the hallways and other noises, so it is not quiet at all.
The hotel has two small elevators that are very slow, which is inadequate for a building with 10 floors and a high volume of guests.
The breakfast offered a decent variety of options but became very crowded, so it's best to arrive early.
The location is in a residential area, making it farther from restaurants and shops.
Overall, our stay was not what we had hoped for.
