A great welcome from Rachael who looked after us on arrival and departure. We really appreciated the extras like wine, milk, bread, jams and chocolates. Brilliant location. We look forward to staying again in the future.

I can't rate this apartment highly enough. There was nothing that was disappointing, in fact quite the opposite!! We had a very warm and informative welcome from Peter.Thank you . We wil definitely return.

We were a party of 5, this was a stop over on our way home from Edinburgh. Communication with owners was excellent and we were welcomed and settled in on arrival. Lovely touches, bubble bath, plenty of loo rolls, milk, bread cereals etc. provided. Owners very welcoming. Great location, very close to city centre.

The property is very conveniently located to the city center, was clean and well stocked. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

What a lovely place. Nice and clean and an ample size for the 5 of us. Great location, close by to city centre and supermarkets to get food. We did not need to take anything, everything was there such as cleaning and washing stuff. Peter was so friendly and helpful. If we needed to contact there were plenty, although this was not needed at all. We will definitely be going back.

Peter and Carol were perfect hosts. They gave us a really warm welcome on arrival and showed us around the apartment. They provided everything we needed to settle in including tea and coffee, bread, milk, biscuits and even chocolates. The apartment was really lovely and spacious. We will definitely stay here again if we return to York and will be recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you both so much.

A great stay in an extremely comfortable, large and well provided for apartment. Plenty of room and everything you could need for a stay. All needs are covered and the extra touches like bread/milk/coffee and sweet treats where above and beyond expectations. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. Close enough to city centre to allow easy access by walking, 15 mins at most and not having to worry about carparking issues. Major supermarket 5/10 mins away depending on car/walk. A safe and very pretty location, as the name suggests, across road from the river with beautiful walks each way. Accommodation hosts where polite helpful and made us to feel welcome, it was a genuine pleasure to stay here. Hopefully it wont matter much longer, but plenty of sanitizer and hand wipes about the apartment to make you feel safe as well. Would happily stay here again, and hopefully looking to return in august with more friends to enjoy york. If coming to york, this is definitely a place to consider staying.

Lovely clean apartment in a great location. Was perfect for our short break in York and the apartment had everything we needed. Peter was quick to respond to queries before we arrived and even let us check in early. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is a wonderful stay, within walking distance to old York and the Shambles. Peter and Carol were there to welcome me and they were like long lost friends as this is my second stay at the unit. The rest of the family loved the rooms and were particularly fond of the chocolates left for us. The place was well-stocked with all that we would need. I can't wait to come back again.

Brilliant location- so easy to walk to everything in York. Peter was very friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable and spacious.

Really homely place. One of the nicest places my family and I have stayed in and the owner was very friendly. We will certainly want to stay here again the next time we visit York.

Ground floor 3 bedroom apartment part of a small complex with parking. Very central 5 minute walk to Monks bar city wall. Spacious & very well equipped & maintained. Met by Peter at prearranged time who explained amenities. Nice touch to supply bread milk butter biscuits tea coffee cereals & jam. Only downside were the beds weren’t very comfortable and the straps on the high chair needed a good clean.

Peter and Caroline could not have been more hospitable or welcoming. Complimentary essentials provided in the kitchen for convenience on arrival. Rooms very comfortable and flat always cosy. Lots of small welcoming touches

Excellent stay, close to city centre, lovely apartment - bathroom could use a little TLC but wouldn’t put me off staying here again. Parked car and didn’t use again until we left, everything you need in walking distance. Met by owners on arrival - really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 teenagers. The Apartment was extremely spacious with everything you could need. We ate out all the time so didn't use the cooker, dishwasher etc but there if wanted. Only a 10 minute walk from centre. great location, great apartment and Peter who dealt with us was just lovely and helpful.

Brilliant accommodation couldn't ask for any more. Close to the main area where we wanted to be. A home from home.
