Couldn’t even have a hot shower or a shower or bath no hot water not very happy at all also no spa facilities which was never mentioned disgusting

Great stay thursday night, great room, beds, cleanliness and great area for getting about. Friday night was awful, guests smoking weed in room near me, reported to staff not sure what happened as smell lasted quite few hrs. Residents quite noisey in their rooms playing tv loud and shouting. Didnt go back down to complain as I already put towels at bottom of doors to keep smell out, and was in bed, couldnt find a desk number to call, such a shame as was great until then.

We enjoyed our one night stay very much, our room was lovely and well worth the price. Unfortunately our stay was let down by poor service at the hotel bar. The lady who served us with our drinks was very rude, to the point where we felt uncomfortable and left without finishing them. She had a very abrupt manner and barely acknowledged me when I asked a question, she carried on talking to her colleague and just shoved a card machine at me sideways without telling me the price or saying thank you. She just had a horrible attitude. I think she must have got on to my shock because then she spent the rest of the time we were there making us very uncomfortable, staring at us and smirking, which is why we left our drinks unfinished. Couldn’t understand her attitude at all and we would have stayed and enjoyed a few more drinks if it weren’t for her, found her to be extremely unprofessional.

Bed too small for 2 ppl, very old and dated hotel, smelt like old tobacco, very noisey

Hotel was clean, no food, restaurant shut, nice bar area. room was ok good shower. The people that fetch dogs shouldn't be allowed glad it didn't howl all night. People in corridors noisy, the whole hotel creaks very loud creaking its a nuisance, sounds like an old sailing ship. If you like to hear constant creaking and dogs this is the hotel for you.

It was disgusting.bedbugs and other insects.allso full of drug addicts.no food on.dont stay at this place .staff are vile and very two faced . never on reception.food never hot .if on at all.

Shower was at optimum temp for legionella, reported to reception and head office twice still waiting for a response , we couldn't use the shower , serious issue which will now be escalated to environmental health, avoid at all costs.

Great hotel! Right in the centre and staff were very helpful.

Very nice hotel great service and nice view of the lake. Close to shops and pubs so plenty to do or stay in the friendly hotel bar. Been to this hotel many times now and still go back.

The property was like Incredibly dated. I’m really rundown. Nothing like it’s pictures. I thought I was going into Beirut. Very shocked. Should’ve booked for a Premier Inn instead.

Big hotel, staff are all great. There looks to be a much needed refurb being done slowly. We had a large room, very clean and everything we needed. Had breakfast all well cooked and plenty of it. Great value.

Amazing stay staff were helpful only thing was bed could have been a bit bigger other than that thoroughly enjoyed will go again
