Excellent hotel within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars.
Very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly!
The complimentary sweets and drinks were a lovely bonus and also the rocky road for our journey home.
Breakfast was lovely with a great choice.
Would definitely go again, thank you.

The receptions were very friendly and the staff was very helpful to carry out our luggage to the stairs and showed us the room; warm like a home.
Except the male staff who were on duty while we checked out in the morning; he was the only staff in the reception and is not busy at all. However he has reacted expressionless while we asked for check out and not even saying a goodbye or thank you for staying to us; As a customers,it’s not a good impression at all while they served you with professional manner during check in.
it is better that staff just has to be learnt how to treat customer politely from his check in staffs!!!!!
Otherwise there are no use even they served you very nicely at the beginning!

Really lovely and unique hotel. Clean room. However, we were in an outside room that was between the restaurant and outside bar area. It was very loud to the point we couldn't sit and watch TV. At one point a large group were just stood outside the door shouting and yelling. Gorgeous breakfast on the first morning but the second seemed to be understaffed and we had to keep asking for things. And the eggs were barely cooked!

Lovely place close to the centre. Hotel is really nice but plenty of stairs to room if you are not on the ground floor. Courtyard was really nice to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat

This hotel charges £20 per night for residents in an incredibly small and difficult to turn car park.
The reception space was lovely and quirky however the welcome was lack lustre. We were told to help ourselves to fresh milk but when we did later in the day the 2 people chatting on reception watched me open an empty fridge and search until I asked for milk.
Parts of the hotel need attention, the restaurant ceiling has holes in it.
Cocktails are nice and staff were friendly.
Overall a quirky hotel that was comfortable. Nice touches like the larder, however small improvements would make it better than average.
