Great room and the hotel always try to accommodate my request for a bath. It is very much appreciated. Staff a friendly and it’s always clean in a great location for Farringdon. This is always my 1st choice of hotel when I’m in town.

The room was good and the air conditioning was working well in the middle of a hot spell in London.

Staff were friendly enough although not empowered to resolve issues. Room was vey outdated and smelt of years of people smoking in the room which had seeped into the fabric covered walls. Room lighting was very dim, no doubt caused by the dark wall covering.
Carpets severely stained and not vacuumed. Bathroom lighting very poor given there were no windows. Staff refused to change the room as they said were not allowed to make changes.

Nous sommes descendus voir le petit déjeuner à 14 livres et là, pfff!.., nous qui voyageons énormément avons vu un petit dej continental sans aucun intérêt . Des gros efforts sont à faire, voir à repenser l’intégralité du petit dej. Pour ce qui est des 4 étoiles notées sur l établissement, une mise à jour est à faire pour en déduire certaines

The room was clean and adequate. I didn’t try the restaurant at all but heard bad reviews. Overall adequate but nothing to write home about. If you need to be in the Clerkenwell area, it’s convenient.

Incredibly warm. Specifically chose a hotel with air conditioning. Air conditioning was not working and windows do not open. Twice we asked for ac to be turned on. Receptionist was very friendly and said she had turned it in and it needed time to reset. Still no ac and no sleep. Disappointed as I’ve stayed before but it’s put me off coming back.
