Lovely sea view room very clean .Had a great breakfast.

From the moment you step inside the Clyffe hotel it feels so welcoming and cosy. I booked the King room and it was definitely worth the extra money. Very spacious with a huge bay window that looks out towards the sea. I could have sat and looked at the view forever. Loved the decor in the bathroom too.

I stayed here with my 5 year old, and we both had a wonderful time. The location is great - a short walk through some gorgeous gardens to the sea front, and the walk back up to the town centre / train station takes in a kids playground, another little public park, and a nicely refurbished Victorian Pavilion with a cafe and some very nice public loos. The hosts are lovely, the breakfast is delicious, and the bedrooms have been really nicely refurbished.

This is a lovely hotel to stay at. The pictures don't really do it justice. Courtney the owner up graded us to a larger room as the room that was allocated via the website was very small. Everything was very clean and was supplied with adequate tea,coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. These were topped up every day. The room was cleaned and the bed made up daily. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice and the full English was exceptional. The hotel is very quirky with its decor and has a lot of interesting items around the lounge and dining area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and Courtney was at hand to advise on directions to places. Although the hotel doesn't have its own car park there is plenty of free roadside parking and we never struggled to find a place usually right outside the front door. All in all we found the hotel a really nice place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

As a frequent traveler to the UK, I found my stay at The Clyffe Hotel in Lowestoft to be a real pleasure. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the experience feel personal. Parking was stress-free, with plenty of street options nearby. I was fortunate to park directly in front of the hotel throughout my stay. Breakfast was another highlight, freshly prepared and more like a home-cooked meal than the usual hotel buffet. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well kept, perfect for unwinding after a day by the seaside. Even with the usual street activity, the atmosphere was peaceful — I could nap with the windows open, enjoying the sea breeze and the distant sound of seagulls. For convenience, there’s a Co-op shop just a short walk away if you need toiletries or extras. A special mention goes to the host and hostess, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Overall, The Clyffe Hotel is a hidden gem that balances comfort, hospitality, and coastal charm. I’ll gladly return on my next visit to the area.

Welcomed on arrival. The room was set up as requested and the breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed the two day stay and would recommend.

Our two nights away was fantastic. We had the King room with a Seaview well worth the extra money for the extra space. The service from all the staff was excellent, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

All excellent but for lift closing at 10, I have walking difficulties so it could have been an issue, it should be on the website for others to see as they only have one disabled room on the ground floor

We booked this the day before we arrived and ended up staying a second night. Our host and his wife were great. The rooms were far better than we expected for what we paid. We paid a lot more for less in previous places but thats the luck of the draw when you book late. Would have no qualms about recommending this hotel.

We recently stayed for two nights at The Cliffe Hotel in Lowestoft and were very pleased with our experience. The room, breakfast area, and communal spaces were all spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was particularly spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order and of a high standard, with a good variety of options including cereal, porridge, and a hearty Full English. The service throughout was excellent, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. A lovely place to stay and highly recommended.
