Avoid the room at the front. Drunk pub clientele arguing in the street until the small hours of Saturday morning.

We had a very enjoyable one night stay at the Crown. The room was a good size with a very nice bathroom. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar and we enjoyed some of tapas dishes for our evening meal. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to stay.
Food was fabulous both in the evening and breakfast.
Only criticism is that it was a little worn out in the room. However the bathroom was excellent.

Very pleasant stay and good value as a very good breakfast was included. There was no food on the Sunday evening we were there and there was a private event which caused some noise late into the evening.

It was ok. I think if you look at it as a 16th century coaching inn, youll be disappointed but its fine and staff were all helpful, and breakfast good. Room was a bit small and if you stay there at the weekend , be prepared for noise in the room from the bar/live music
